I got a lot of reading done. At least, more reading than I did in the previous
weeks. I had some pretty fun books to read, and they were all amazing and
totally met my expectations. Some even exceeded my expectations. I love when that
happens!
a girlfriend who I hadn’t seen in a while visited us. We had some serious
catching up to do and obviously we talked a lot about Rosanne and babies. Funny
how the subjects we talk about change so much over the years. On Wednesday my
grandma visited. It’s so fun to see her with Rosanne, her great-granddaughter.
Rosanne had to get her second shot. The doctor checked everything again, and Rosanne
is doing very well. The doctor gave us a referral to a physiotherapist who will
help us do some exercises to make sure her positional preference to the right doesn’t
get worse. So far so good.
wasn’t feeling all too well. My throat felt terrible and had this bad stomach
ache. So baby girl and me stayed home. Rosanne seemed to feel it was necessary
to take it slow, because she slept a lot while I did some reading under a
blanket on the couch. It was a perfect day, and today (Saturday) the husband and
I are going on our first date since baby girl was born. Rosanne is going to my
mom and we are going shopping and having a drink etc. It’s the first time I’m
leaving Rosanne and although I know it’s good for her and me, and I will have
to leave her much longer when I go back to work, it’s still hard. But she
turned 3 months old yesterday, so I definitely need to get some time alone with
the husband.

Thanks Greg. We definitely had a great time.
Happy Reading!
I hope you have a nice date 🙂 definitely important to go out just the two of you! It's great that your mom can watch the little one. Have a nice week 🙂
Thanks Evelina. I think grandma was even more looking forward to date night than the both of us. LOL!!
Happy Reading!
I'm glad you are spending time with your hubby. I didn't realize how important it is for many years. I think I devoted myself a bit too much to my kids.
Yes, it was something we agreed upon before I even got pregnant. We have to make time for each other and have date nights! I think your definitely not the only one who devoted every bit of herself to her kids. Nowadays you get encouraged as parents to have date nights, that wasn't always the case.
Happy Reading!
It's definitely important to find time for just you and your husband (and also for just you!). As Dust Dances looks interesting. Happy reading!
Natflix&Books

Yay for dates, and extra reading. I hope your little bug is gone as well.
Thankfully the bug is gone. I worried I might get a huge cold, but nothing so far. *fingerscrossed*

Hope things work as you hope and you get back to work without worries. And of course read more.
