The seductive and stunning #1 New York Times bestselling sequel to Sarah J. Maas's spellbinding A Court of Thorns and Roses .
Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she's now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people.
As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre's hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin. While Feyre navigates a dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms. She might just be the key to stopping it, but only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future-and the future of a world in turmoil.

I have always known that I would love Sarah J. Maas. I’ve owned five of her books before I even read one. But somehow I just never got to actually reading them. This year I was determined to finally read the ACOTAR series. So after re-reading book one (I read that one a few years back), I dived into book two.

In ‘A Court of Mist and Fury’ we continue right where the first book ended. Feyre has returned with Tamlin to the Spring Court and is learning to adjust being Fae and trying to come to terms with what happened to her Under the Mountain. Things are hard. And not only is Feyre trying to find her way back to Tamlin, now she also has to spend one week a month at the Night Court with Rhysand. Soon everything Feyre knows is turned upside down, and she has to find her way again in the midst of an upcoming war.

‘A Court of Mist and Fury’ was honestly an even better read than the first one. And I already absolutely loved the first book. In this book we read more about Feyre and how she is adjusting to her new life as Fae and I loved reading how she slowly found her strength back. And more importantly, in this book we get to know Rhysand, and boy did I love him.

Rhysand’s character was my absolute favorite. I loved learning more about him, his Night Court, his friends and especially reading who he really was underneath all the darkness. The way Rhysand and Feyre became closer was just done so well and I loved their journey.

I absolutely devoured ‘A Court of Mist and Fury’, when I wasn’t reading I was honestly still thinking of this book. Not only did I love reading Feyre and Rhysand’s story, I also loved reading more about Rhysand’s friends. They where such a lovely and mysterious bunch. I enjoyed getting to know them.

And I honestly was impressed with the way Sarah was able to make me love Tamlin’s character in the first book, and soon after starting this book his character started to frustrate me more and more. There where a lot of twists and turns I didn’t saw coming and when I finished reading the last page.. I picked up book three right away! I can’t wait to learn what happens next.
