FEYRE WILL BRING VENGEANCE.
She has left the Night Court - and her High Lord - and is playing a deadly game of deceit. In the Spring Court, Tamlin is making deals with the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees, and Feyre is determined to uncover his plans. But to do so she must weave a web of lies, and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As mighty armies grapple for power, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords - and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
BUT WHILE WAR RAGES, IT IS HER HEART THAT WILL FACE THE GREATEST BATTLE.

After reading book two, A Court of Mist and Fury, I simple couldn’t wait to start reading the third book. And since I had the third book waiting for me on my TBR shelf, I started reading right away. Another plus.. I gained some muscles while reading these two back to back. My arms aren’t used to reading these big paperbacks anymore.. but I sure love holding them.

In ‘A Court of Mist and Fury’ we continue right where the second book stopped. Feyre is back at the Spring Court, playing a dangerous game and trying to find more information that can help them win the upcoming war. Being away from Rhysand is hard, but Feyre is determined to do what is needed. Soon it becomes clear there are a lot of people who can’t be trusted anymore, but Feyre also finds enemies that become friends again.

When Feyre finally gets back to the Night Court, it is clear the war can’t be stopped. And it is time to find allies. But the Night Court has held it’s true self hidden for a very long time, and it might be to late to change peoples minds. There is danger hiding behind every corner, and Feyre and Rhysand must fight with all they have to keep their home safe.

Before I started reading his book, I was warned this book was a lot more about politics and warfare. And I was a bit afraid I wouldn’t love this book as much as I did the previous two. But honestly, I shouldn’t have worried. From the moment I started read reading ‘A Court of Wings and Ruin’, I was hooked. Yes, there is a lot of talking and politics in this book. But I loved everything about it. I was fascinated with everything that was going on and I found myself contemplating what would happen next even when I wasn’t reading.

The chemistry between Feyre and Rhysand was just as epic as in the second book. I loved reading about those quiet moments between them. Even when there weren’t as many as in the previous book. I loved how they both worked hard to keep their home safe.

There was a lot going on in this book, and there where a lot of new character to get to know. Although I’m usually very bad at keeping track of many characters at the same time, in this book I didn’t have this problem at all. Somehow I found myself being able to keep everyone apart. And I loved it. There where several twist and turns I didn’t see coming and I read till deep in the night.

‘A Court of Wings and Ruin’ was another great read and I can’t wait to read the next two in the series, before starting in the Throne of Glass series. Yes.. I’m hooked!
