This week I was finally able to visit most of you guys and do some reading. And boy did it feel good! I only had to work two days this week, but both days where long and exhausting to be honest. On Tuesday my grandma came to visit. We went to IKEA and just had a great time. We didn’t really buy much, but we had lunch and just enjoyed walking around. It’s definitely special watching my grandmother with my baby girl.
Since we are planning to put up our house for sale in the upcoming weeks I did some cleaning. I’m sorting out stuff, and I’m trying to throw away what I don’t use anymore. Not my strong suit really. But I honestly can’t wait to sell our house and start looking for a new place. We’ve lived here for ten years and it’s time for a new place where our baby girl can grow up.
This weekend will be busy. On Saturday we have a birthday party of one of my girlfriends who just turned 30. It’s a theme party, and the theme is the roaring twenties and we bought these outfits. I’m definitely excited.

Ooh your Roaring 20’s theme sounds fun. 🙂 And good luck with the house when you get ready to sell. That’s always an exciting time when you get to look for a new home!
Happy reading, hope you have a great week!
Thanks Greg. The party was fun. There was a drag queen, and we played musical bingo! We definitely had a good time.

The twenties is an amazing theme for a party! So much glitz and glamour. 🙂
I love IKEA. I always end up buying something when we visit though… Normally it’s random kitchen accessories, lol.
It was definitely a glitter and glamour filled party. So much fun! And my friend was really happy, so it was great.
IKEA is definitely good for random kitchen stuff. LOL!

I hope your place sells quickly and you can find a new lovely place to live.

Everyday at Ikea is a great time. Glad to see you’re reading J.B. Robb.
J. D. Robb is definitely one of my favorite authors. I love the In Death Series.

Ten years is a lot! Altough I’ve lived in the same place with my parents for like… Over 20? I think… so yeah, moving can be tough. I hope your new place is nice and easy to settle into though 🙂
Yes ten years is definitely a record for me. I’ve never lived anywhere as long as here.
Have a great week and happy reading.
The Roaring Twenties is a fun era. Enjoy the party and those new books. Good luck finding your next house.

Thanks Laurel. It was definitely a fun party.

I also need to do the sort and throw because I know we will be moving. I’m not good at it because I hate to get rid of anything if I can recycle / reuse/ repurpose it.
It sounds like a lovely week. I hope this one is great and with some good books.
I hear you. I also definitely don’t like getting rid of stuff. But sometimes we just have too I quess.
Have a great week and happy reading.
I loved when my mother came to visit when my son was a baby. It was such a special feeling to have three generations together. The party theme sounds like a blast.

Ugh..moving and cleaning before are things I remember with slight horror. LOL We have moved 6 x’s and to 4 states since we married. We have been here the longest..14 years in August..but we will move at least once more to the south. Best of luck!
Thanks Kimberly. I’m definitely a little anxious about moving.. but I know it’s for the best and I’m looking forward to it too. Hopefully our home gets sold fast.
Have a great week and happy reading.
