This week
was our last week of our vacation.. And it wasn’t a whole week unfortunately.
We definitely tried to enjoy our last days in our little ‘honeymoon’ cocoon. On
Monday we had a nice and quiet day. We went for a 5k walk through the woods,
which was a lot of fun. It was a beautiful area and a one hour drive, which
made it feel like we were really getting away for a view hours.

On Tuesday
we went to Roermond, to this Outlet Center near the border to Germany. It was a
long drive, with a lot of traffic jams, but we got up early and just made the
best of it. I bought some new shoes, which I really needed since I left my last
sneakers in Lanzarote because they were so dirty. (And they were white.. not a
good combination.) We bought my husband some new jeans. And we got a new pan,
and a new water bottle I can take to work. After our shopping adventure we went
to my husband’s uncle, who lives only 30 minutes away from Roermond. We had
dinner there, and it was just a really fun day.

Wednesday we bought my new phone since I needed a new phone plan for the next
two years. I got an iPhone 7plus, which is really big but I love it!! It’s
perfect for some blogging stuff and it’s just so pretty. It’s red and I can’t
stop looking! LOL!! I’m a total geek when it comes to phones.

Well.. and
on Thursday I had to get back to work. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday I was
an instructor candidate for the MRMI (Medical Response to Major Incidents) course.
Last year I went to Milan for that course, so I definitely wanted to be a part
of it now. And it was a nice, fun way to get back in my working mode. It were
three long days, which were a lot of fun but also very tiring. And today I plan
on doing nothing.. Sigh..

Books & Blogging
This week
I got back to my blogging rhythm. I had to do a lot of catching up email wise
and it definitely took some time to getting everything working the way I want it again. But in
the end I did catch up! 😀 And now I’m back and I love it. I got some great new books and I’m just really excited.
I did a discussion post this week and had a fun guest post for you guys by author Weston Kincade.
My weekly meme ‘My Favorite..’ was about my favorite way to spend the weekend
and there were some reviews. Definitely not a bad first week back I think.

Glad you had such a relaxing and enjoyable honeymoon trip. My daughter and her husband are having their honeymoon in your part of the world: Prague, Amsterdam, etc. They flew into Stockholm, where they were stuck in the airport for over a day. LOL.

They really do fill up quickly. And I do so much with my iPhone.. I'm definitely addicted. LOL!

I am seriously contemplating getting an iPhone 7 plus. I'm actually finding my phone too small to do the things I need when I am out and about which is hilarious because I though the 6 was MASSIVE when I first got it.
