This week has been crazy busy here. On Monday we had to go to the hospital for a check up for our baby girl. It was all good, but you fellow moms out there understand me if I’m saying that it definitely took almost half day to go there, have the appointment and get back. When we got back my husband decided to start painting our doors and frames. Nothing wrong with that since we are planning on putting up our home for sale. Unfortunately right after we started, we heard that the realtor was coming on Thursday. So all the painting had to be done before that. And I had to work on Tuesday and Wednesday too. Crazy!! I’ve had little sleep this week.
On Thursday I cleaned our home from top to bottom, and on Friday I had to work again. The stuff the realtors are saying are very positive, so we are hoping to sell our home fast. But boy there is a lot going on at the moment. I haven’t been able to catch up with you guys, and for that I’m sorry. This weekend we don’t have a lot of plans so I’m hoping to catch up with you guys.
I was sad to hear about the passing of Luke Perry this week. I watched ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ growing up and I just loved Luke’s character Dylan McKay. I think he was my first TV-badboy Crush!! He also just seemed like a great guy and well.. he was just too damn young!!
I hope you all are having a great week and are enjoying your weekend!!!

Oh I hate weeks like that. And getting ready to sell a house is always stressful, seems like! Hope you have a super new week, and are able to catch some sleep too! 🙂
Good luck with the house stuff!
Thanks Greg. It’s definitely a little stressful at the moment. But it’s all for a good cause.. At least that’s what I’m telling myself! 😀
Have a great week and happy reading!
You have been busy this week. I don’t know how you do it!
I’ve created a linky on my blog for the Sunday Salon and I’ve kept the Facebook group. I hope you will join in and spread the word.
Thinking back on this week I don’t really know how I did it myself. LOL! I check out your group 😉
Have a great week and happy reading.
Phew! I hope this coming week is more relaxed for you!!
Thanks Erica. I sure hope so too.
Have a great week and happy reading.
Let’s hope your house will sell at a good price Maureen! And as you live in The nederlands I’ve just realized that we are neighbours! I live in Belgium 😉 I wish you a better week!
Thanks Sophie. I hope so too.
And yes.. we are definitely neighbours then!! 😀
Have a great week and happy reading.
I totally understand how long it takes to get through baby check-ups. One time I took my son and they actually gave us laminated index cards for how to get to the x-ray lab, if that’s any indicator. Sometimes, I just plan back to back appointments for him cause I know it’ll take all day anyway.
That’s a smart idea.. I didn’t plan anything else that day fortunately. I wouldn’t have known how to do that.
Have a great week and happy reading.
Putting the house on the market is such a grueling task. All the appointments and having to keep the house tidy, etc. Before I put mine up, the realtors had me box up most of my goodies, which they called “clutter.” LOL. I had twenty boxes of that stuff…in a closet in my guest house, which, luckily, was vacant at the time.
Baby appointments can be challenging, too.
Enjoy your new week. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
LOL!! They will probably tell me the same. I’ve already put away my Harry Potter Pop’s. But they probably still think I have to much clutter. LOL!! It’s all for the cause I guess. Sigh..
Have a great week and happy reading.
Good luck with selling the house! It is a pity that there is so much work and stress connected to it.
Thanks Julie. It sure is.. But hopefully, in the end it’s worth it. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
I hope your house sells off soon Maureen. I loved reading about your week and I wish your kid is better now. Have a great week ahead.
I sure hope so too Gayathri. I can’t wait to be able to decorate a new place 😀
Have a great week and happy reading!
Yikes! I hope your baby girl is doing well. Even though I didn’t watch “Beverly Hills” growing up, it’s still sad hearing about Luke Perry’s passing. May he rest in peace.
Our baby girl is definitely doing well. It was just a check up! 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
You had the hectic week, hopefully it will be easier this week. Sort and throw as much as you can before moving! I’m working on that right now. I spent a couple hours going through clothes and packed some up to donate. I hope the process goes smoothly for you.
Yes, I’m definitely trying to sort and throw away stuff before we actually have to move. Boy oh boy what a junk we people can collect over the years. Crazy!
Have a great week and happy reading!
Selling a house is so nerve wracking. Sounds like you’ve been very busy. I didn’t hear about Luke Perry. How sad. I’ve always enjoyed his acting.
It sure is nerve wracking! I just hope everything goes smoothly.. When we bought this house ten years ago it was nightmare.
Have a great week and happy reading!
Oh wow, what a busy week! I hope next week is more relaxed 🙂
It sure was a crazy busy week! 😉
Luke Perry and I were both more in October of 66. 11 days apart. That is scary. Plus, I adored him as an actor.
Yes, he really was a great actor and he is gone way to soon.
