The
Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to
share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and
things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog
for the week ahead.

And yet another week has passed by and we are on our way
to the end of April. Time is going by faster and faster. But this week that was
definitely not a bad thing for me because I really was in need of the weekend.
On Monday morning I finished my nightshifts and I was feeling super tired. To
make sure I would get back into my normal rhythm, I slept till one p.m. (so
that’s only 3 1/2 hours) and on 2 p.m. I had an appointment at the dentist. So I was really sleepy, and at the dentist they had to give me some local anesthesia
that numbed the right halve of my face for almost 7 hours.. So when I went to
see ‘Jungle Book’ with my movie buddy at 4 p.m. I looked like a total freak. Tired and half my face wasn’t working properly. I
made a lot of people laugh.. LOL!!
Jungle Book was amazing by the way! Wow.. They sure did a
great job on that movie. Loved it!!
Tuesday I was so tired I slept till 10.30 a.m. which is
the longest I have slept in many many months. I suppose I really
needed to catch up on some sleep. The rest of the day I spend inside the house,
in my pajamas doing noting much accept read and blog.

Wednesday and Thursday I had to work again. And on Friday
I went with my mom and aunt to ‘s HertogenBosch, a city here in The Netherlands
with many nice shops, beautiful churches and other gorgeous buildings. We spend the day
shopping, visiting a beautiful church and we had their specialty called the ‘Bossche
Bol’ (see picture). It’s this very tasty chocolate covered pastry filled with
whipped cream. Very bad for you, but very very tasty. We had a lovely day, especially
when my cousin also joint us for the last couple of hours.
At night my boyfriend and I went out to dinner. Not for
any particular reason than that we really wanted to. What a great day!
This weekend is a slow one. I don’t have to work so I’m
going to read, blog and spend some quality time at home with my man. So far it’s
been pretty damn good since I seem to be on this winning spree. Friday I won an
eBook of ‘Summer Hiatus’ by S.J. Pajonas through a Giveaway hosted by Trish at
Between My Lines book blog. And Saturday I won the Boost It Tuesday Giveaway
hosted by Every Free Chance Books. So it’s definitely a good weekend for me. 😉
What are your plans this weekend? Starting any new books
I should know about?
