This week has flown by and I haven’t done nearly as much as I would have liked. I didn’t even get to visit all you guys for the last Sunday Post.. I’m sorry about that. This week will be better I promise! And why didn’t I get to visit? I’ve been super tired! Normally I’m one of those people that sleeps 5 till 7 hours every night.. This week I’ve been asleep around 10 p.m. every night. I was just so damn tired, I couldn’t even read all that much. So instead of trying to visit everyone like crazy, and do it again tomorrow for the new Sunday Post, I decided to just take things easy tonight and catch up with you guys tomorrow. I guess I just needed to catch up on sleep.
There’s not much to share about this week. I finished ‘From Blood and Ash’ by Jennifer L. Armentrout and really really loved it! I loved it so much that I ordered some fan merchandise and got myself another book by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Let me tell you.. that book is one of my new favorites.
I worked three days this week. Only one on the Corona ward, instead of the scheduled two.. and although it was hard I was glad to have been able to do my part.
We’re still on lockdown here.. and things will stay this way until at least May 11th. Than schools will slowly start back up..
I hope you guys are staying healthy and safe.

I’m so sorry you’ve been tired! I know I’m low on vitamin D because I haven’t been outside a whole lot so I need to change that. My sleeping pattern is all over the place though, so I know I need to get back to a schedule. It’s been a while since I’ve read one of Armentrout’s books, but I’ve been meaning to give her a try again.
I hope this week goes better for you!
My Weekly Update
Thanks Tressa. I hope you’ll get back to a schedule soon.
I’m so glad we have a garden where I’ve been able to get some sun every day.
Stay safe and happy reading.
I hope your Corona ward isn’t being too slammed. For those of us isolating and avoiding corona I have so much respect (and say prayers for) all of you who are working WITH corona and people affected. stay safe!!
Storm and Fury looks good!
Thanks Greg. It wasn’t to busy on the Corona ward luckily. Still.. it’s intense.
I can’t wait to start reading ‘Storm and Fury’.
Stay safe and happy reading.
I’m glad you were able to get some more rest when you needed it, Maureen! I had a week like that, too. I was so tired – I slept ten hours at night, and still took naps in the afternoon…
Your new books look great, and I hope you’ll find a lot of pleasure reading them.
Stay safe and healthy, my friend 🙂
I definitely needed some sleep this week. Luckily I’ve been able to sleep in a little this morning too. My husband took our little girl downstairs before I woke up. So nice!!
Stay safe and happy reading to you to my friend. 😉
I totally agree. You should definitely take it easy. I am not even attempting to get it all. I catch up with most, but not all. Stay safe
I’m probably to hard on myself. But what else is new?! LOL!
Stay safe and happy reading.
I hope you have been able to catch up with all that sleeping and that you are feeling more alert now. I was also in work, just one day, this week to help look after the key worker’s children we have at school. It was good to get out and, as you said, feel like I am doing my bit. I hope this coming week is a good one for you. 🙂
I definitely got some sleep this week. Hopefully I feel more rested next week.
I’ll bet it was nice to get out for a while too. 😉
Stay safe and happy reading.
I’m not surprised you are tired, the world is stressful at the moment. And you are right in the thick of the action, so make sure you take as much down time as you can without any guilt. Those of us staying safely at home are so thankful to health professionals like you Maureen.
Thanks Trish. I do try to rest as much as I can.. but there are just too many great books to read out there. 😉
Stay safe and happy reading.
I am glad you took the rest when you are tired. You are important to many and you need to take care of yourself.
I hoe you enjoyed Nightchaser – I loved it. Stay safe and be well!
Anne – Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
Thanks Anne. I do try to take care of myself a little better.
I finished Nightchaser last night. I definitely enjoyed that one.
Stay safe and happy reading.
I’m sure you need time to adjust with the return to work.. Our schools are also opening to students again from May 11, each grade will physically attend on a nominated day each week, and work online for the rest. It will be interesting.
Wishing you a great reading week, be well x
Interesting is definitely the word. I’m curious to see how long people will stay at home.. it feels like it’s getting busier outside every day.
Stay safe and happy reading.
You don’t have to make any excuses, Maureen – you are one of those treasures on the front line right now. Of course, you’re tired. I hope you have a chance to relax and unwind. Take care.
Thanks Sarah. I hope your well too.
Stay safe and happy reading.
OOoh nice!! I still need to get From Blood and Ash onto my reading schedule! I’m excited for it, but also suuuuuper tempted to read it as a real book because of its length even though I already bought the ebook.
Hope this week’s work week isn’t too rough either!
Happy Reading!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Oh my… Well.. Drop everything and start reading my friend!! ‘From Blood and Ash’ is sooooo good! I absolutely love that book!
Stay safe and happy reading.
Sorry you’ve been so tired this week, Maureen. I hope you get your energy back this coming week. I am so excited to start From Blood and Ash. I hope to read it in May. I have Heartbreak Warfare on my Kindle and I want to read it but I feel like it’s going to break my heart. I really enjoyed Storm and Fury!
Thanks Tanya. I’m feeling slightly better already. I definitely agree about Heartbreak Warfare.. the book sounds good, but heartbreaking.
Stay safe and happy reading.
I loved Storm & Fury! The next book for that series comes out this summer – I can’t wait!! Stay safe, and rest whenever you need to 🙂
I can’t wait to start reading that one. I heard so many great things about it.
Stay safe and happy reading.
There’s so much stress right now about the virus that I expect all of us are tired. I feel like I can’t get enough sleep either. I hope you catch up on yours:)
Thanks Laura.
Stay safe and happy reading.
Your haul is awesome. I am sorry you’ve been tired, but glad you are listening to your body and not pushing. Elbow hugs!
Thanks Kimberly. I can’t wait to start reading these books.
Stay safe and happy reading.
Sorry you’ve been so tired! I’m sure being a medical professional right now is physically and mentally exhausting. Thank you for being on the front lines during this pandemic!!!
It can definitely be tiring. But I’m not working a lot more than I used too.. So I’m not sure that’s it.
Stay safe and happy reading.
This is me getting to last week’s Sunday Posts the day of the new Sunday Post! lol Don’t worry about it. We all do what we can when we can. 🙂
I’m looking forward to the new Armentrout book! I used to love her stories but haven’t read anything of hers in a while. From Blood and Ash sounds like something I’d love!
I hope you’ll be able to read it soon.. It’s such a great read! 😀
Stay safe and happy reading.
