things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog
for the week ahead.
So I’m back… I’m back from my work trip to Milan, Italy
and my vacation to Switzerland. I haven’t been blogging much because of that..
It was too busy and my mind definitely was something else. A lot has happened
and I can’t wait to share my news with you guys. So here it goes. 😀
My Hotel in Milan |
At the end of May I went to Milan, Italy for a work trip.
I was super excited but also very nervous for this trip. As a nurse we don’t
often have work trips, so that was exciting. But the course I was having was
also for doctors and surgeons and I was a little afraid it would be too
complicated for me. But let me tell you.. I had an amazing time. The days were
very long, but I learned a lot and it was sooo much fun. In the evenings we
also had some free time to visit the city itself, so that was definitely great.
I didn’t sleep a lot, and reading also wasn’t in the cards for me there (only
on the plane), but it was definitely worth it. And in the end I got an awesome
certificate that will look amazing on my resume. Great memories for sure!
laundry, do some groceries and pack for our holiday to Switzerland. It
definitely was a little stressful, but in the end everything went great and we
left at the time we wanted. Our trip to Switzerland went really smoothly. We
arrived around 3.30 p.m. at our apartment and it was truly a beautiful place.
The weather was great the first day and we definitely made some great pictures
that dat.
Mostly it rained a lot, there were a lot of clouds so we couldn’t see the
mountains most days.. But we still enjoyed ourselves. And on Monday May 30th,
something amazing happened.
On Monday we went to visit the town of Lucerne. This is a
beautiful city in the middle of Swiss, surrounded by a lake and beautiful
mountains.. I have some very precious childhood memories there. And most of all
I remembered the beautiful Kappelbrücke, a covered wooden
footbridge surrounded by swans. I told my boyfriend about that bridge, and how
romantic I always thought that bridge was. So on Monday we walked across that
bridge.. And my boyfriend proposed!! And I said YES!!!! We’re getting married!!
:D:D It was super romantic and I’m sooooo excited.
rest of our stay in Switzerland was a lot of fun. We went out for dinner
several times.. and I kept looking at my ring a lot of times. LOL!! Our week couldn’t
go wrong.
from Monday morning on, our wedding planning began. Super exciting. I had no
idea we had so much to arrange. But we’ll take it one step at a time. Reading wise I’m a little behind, but this weekend I plan to catch up again.
are you guys doing? What did I miss in the blogging/reading world?
