a while and I’m super excited to participate in the Sunday Post again. Life has
changed for us since the last time I did a Sunday Post. (I wrote about this big
change in my Baby, I’m Back post on Monday if you’re interested.) And this week
I got Maureen’s Books up and running again. I’m super excited! Having a baby girl
to take care of and blogging seemed impossible after Rosanne was first born.
But thankfully now we have a rhythm of our own again, and I love every minute
of our life.
has been pretty good. Blogging again has been great. Our girl got her first
shots this week, which was pretty sad because this made her have her very first
‘real’ tears too. And that was definitely also hard for mom. The rest of the
week we had some visitors and we visit my mom on Friday. We had a nice lunch
and the weather was great so we walked around a bit.
weekend we don’t have a lot planned. We have a birthday party on Sunday but not
much else. I hope to be able to visit you all this weekend. I’ve missed being a
part of the Sunday Post!

Hey, nice to see you back on the Sunday Post! And glad you had a good week. 🙂
Both of those books look awesome for October!
Thanks Greg. I'm glad to be back 😀
Happy reading!
A new baby is a good reason to relax the blogging schedule. Congrats on Roseanne…and I agree about the shots. The look on their faces…and the tears. But…necessary.
Enjoy settling into your routine, and thanks for visiting my blog.
Thanks Laurel. It was definitely hard to watch her getting those shots.. But I know it's for the best. 😉
Happy Reading!
Congratulations on the new baby! Shots are the worst, I think I cried too just about every time my kids had to get them! Welcome back to the book bloggy world again, it's hard to stay away, right? Books are just a lifetime love affair! 🙂
Thank you Rachel. It's impossible to stay away. 😉
Happy Reading!
Oh, and thanks for visiting my blog (Waves of Fiction)! 🙂
You're welcome 😉
Oh enjoy every moment with your precious girl. They grow so fast. But don't forget to take moments for yourself to read and relax. There are many pictures with my girl asleep in my lap and I'm reading a book. In those days, it was a print book too. There's one photo where she is about 4 and almost falling off my lap and I'm trying to hold and read a Tom Clancy book (that's Jack Ryan and those books are like 600 pounds – I mean pages.) Anne – Books of My Heart
Thanks Anne. I'm definitely trying to enjoy every moment. And I've been reading to my baby girl for almost every night since the day she was born. I'm hoping she'll love books as much as her mom. 😀
Happy Reading!
Welcome back to blogging! I don’t know how parents juggle everything they have to do each day. You guys are superheroes. Enjoy your new book! Have a great week!
Aj @ Read All The Things!
Thank you AJ. It's good to be back. It's definitely taking some time to get used to this new life.. But I'm loving every minute.
Happy Reading!
I remember those newborn shots! Such torture! Glad you guys survived and that life is starting to feel a little more normal. Have a wonderful week! Thanks for stopping by!
Tressa @ Wishful Endings
Thank you Tressa. Life is definitely getting more 'normal' every day. But I love how much it has changed too.
Happy Reading!
Happy to see that you're back Maureen and congratulations on your daughter. 🙂
Thank you Jovita. I love that I'm back blogging again. 😀
Happy Reading!
Congrats on the new baby!!!
Here’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog
Thank you Ronyell.
Happy Reading!
Welcome back! Blogging with a baby has got to be tough! I remember being surprised with how easily it was to read after my youngest was born but coming up with a coherent thought seems way harder! Oh those shots are brutal. I still remember when my youngest was maybe 6 months old he was all smiley and happy and I couldn't warn him about what was going to happen. The look on his face still haunts me and he's almost 9! Have a great week!
Thank you Katherine. It's definitely challenging sometimes, but I'll keep doing my best. Those shots are really just as hard on the moms as on the babies. Sigh..
Happy Reading!
