Life:
Let’s start by saying.. Happy thanksgiving to all my
American visitors. I hope you’ve had a great time with your loved ones and had
some great and tasty meals! 😉

I’ve had some pretty busy weeks. That’s why I missed the
last Sunday Post. I just couldn’t do it! Last Sunday was practically my twelfth workday in
a row, and I worked 18 days in three weeks. To say I was exhausted was an
understatement. I was so tired, I seriously had a crying fit and couldn’t stop.
Working is fun.. but this was just too much. Thankfully my crazy working schedule
has come to an end and I can start my life again. LOL. I spend last Monday and
Tuesday hanging and sleeping. I was even too tired to read.. And that hasn’t happened
in years.

But I’m back, still a little tired but slowly feeling
like myself again. I was super excited that this week was finally the air date
of ‘Gilmore Girls: a Year in the Life’. And I’ve watched it all in two days. I
loooooved it!! I cried my eyes out in the end.. But boy was it good. I have to
start a new Gilmore Girls re-watch marathon soon because I just can’t get
enough. So.. I love it!! Just to make sure you get my point! 😀

Not a lot more to mention about this week. I have to work
the nightshift this weekend. Only two shifts so that’s not too bad. Monday
morning I’m done again and I’m going to see ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find
Them’. I’m so curious about that one!

Books & Reading:
Reading wise I’m slowly catching up again. After all
those days of work my reading time wasn’t nearly as much as I wanted. I tried..
but I fell asleep with my book a lot of times. Normally that’s okay with me,
but now it was just after opening my book. Which was frustrating but I guess I
just needed the sleep.

Blogging wise I’ve been catching up this week. I’ve
been making my posts and thinking about my plans for next year. I’m thinking of
doing my own weekly meme next year. I’ve made a Poll so people can tell me what
they think about this idea. I haven’t got a lot of responses yet so you guys
would make my day if you could visit and tell me what you think. Here is the Poll!!

I am glad you are feeling like yourself again. All work and no play wears on a person, no matter how much you enjoy your job. Sounds like you've been crazy busy with that schedule of yours! I start back to work Monday after a week off, and am not too excited about it. Even my daughter is complaining about having to start back up with school. She and I are in the same boat.
I've been hearing a lot about Gilmore Girls lately. I am barely into season one, and it's been awhile since I watched. Someday. I just never caught onto the craze. I hope you enjoy Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! I saw that last weekend.
The Other Einstein looks really good. I hope you enjoy it!

I can't imagine working that many days in a row, Maureen! And I'm sure you also have pretty long days, no?
I'm glad you're back on a more normal schedule now, and that things will be back to basics, with time for books and wedding preparations once more 😉
Where in the Netherlands do you live? I'm coming to Amsterdam for two days (December 5-6) for a quick visit and some Christmas shopping 😉

I work 8 1/2 hour days. So that's not so bad. But still.. Working so many days without a break? I won't do it again!

As you know I loved the GG as well, though had a few issues with it here and there.
