Monday I
was supposed to try on my wedding dress again, but unfortunately the lady who
will be making the last fittings on my dress was sick. I was really disappointed

Wednesday! I can’t wait.

On Tuesday
I had a going away dinner for two colleague’s. It was a fun evening but it was
also a little sad to say goodbye. When I wanted to go home I had to wait on the
train for a long time, and I had to get out in another station and wait again
which was really frustrating. I was home very late and was only able to sleep six
hours before I had to get to work. Sigh..

Wednesday
and Thursday I had to work the dayshift. And now, Saturday, I’m working the
night shift. Three nights, and although I used to be really good in working nights,
I’m feeling super tired right now and can’t wait for it to be Monday morning.

What was
really exciting this week was that we received our wedding invitations.
They look so pretty and we’re really happy with them. I can’t wait to send them
out in a view weeks. My Husband-To-Be also got his suit in this week. I can’t
wait to see him in it!

I’ve had a
pretty slow reading week. I was feeling really tired and the time just went by too
fast. But I plan to catch up when I’m done with my nightshifts.

I did get
two new books I’m excited about. Can’t wait to read them.

I'm so excited for you with all the wedding stuff! Sorry about the dress appointment, but at least you got it rescheduled quickly 🙂 And yay invitations! Before you send them all out you should snap a photo of one so we can see 🙂
Thanks. It's definitely all very exciting. And a little scary too! LOL.
I'll definitely share some pics when I can. For now we're keeping it all a bit secret. I can't wait to share more though! 😀
Have a great week!
Sounds like a hectic week! And nice post on Favorites this week. Animals can be so special- thanks for sharing your memories. 🙂
Thanks Greg. It was a hard Favorites to write. But that dog was definitely something special.
Have a great week!
Working at night is something I once did, way back in the day, and I still recall how surreal it seemed to be sleeping when others were awake, and trying to stay away during the work hours.
Have fun planning the wedding, and enjoy! And enjoy your books. I love the cover of Ignite.
Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
Nightshifts definitely feel very surreal. Especially when people think I must have nothing to do since everybody sleep at night.. Guess what.. Nightshifts are crazy on the ward I work. LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
Sorry to hear your wedding dress fitting had to be delayed, but I hope it goes well this week.
It's also Monday here in Oz now, so probably nearly Monday there and I hope you get some rest!
I hope so too Deborah. I can't wait!!
I'm sitting in my PJ's right now.. and plan on doing not much the rest of the day. 😀
Have a great week!
I hope your fitting goes spectacular this week! I can understand the disappointment of having to wait. I hope you are able to catch up on sleep and rest. The man works nights, so I try to match his schedule a little bit when we are together and it throws me all off when I travel back for the work week.
Thanks Charlie. I can't wait for it to be Wednesday.
Nightshifts definitely make you feel off and twisted. LOL.
Have a great week!
I hope your fitting goes well, Maureen. It can be so frustrating when you are looking forward to something and then have to wait even longer. Ugh. Wedding invitations! I bet they are lovely. I hope you have a great week and are able to fit in more reading.
Thanks. I felt super frustrated. But thankfully I didn't have to wait too long! 😀
Have a great week and happy reading!
