This week has been pretty uneventful around here. I wasn’t feeling well in the beginning of the week, but thankfully feel much better now. On Tuesday two former colleagues came to see our baby girl, and it was so much fun to catch up with them. Our baby girl definitely enjoyed their visit and she was smiling a lot.
Other than feeling not so well, I was able to enjoy our baby girl and do some reading. This weekend we have nothing planned, and I’m going to enjoy my family and do some serious reading. I’ve also been catching up on Grey’s Anatomy. This is a show I’ve followed from day one, but with everything going on in my life I was way behind. I’m half way season 14 now so I’m getting there.

My Sunday Post
Thanks Laura. I’m really glad I’ve been feeling better too.
Have a great week and happy reading!
Happy Sunday! Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend- enjoy Grey’s anatomy! 🙂 I haven’t seen that shows in ages, seems like.
Have a great week!
Happy Sunday Greg! I just love Grey’s Anatomy. I have loved that show from the beginning. It started right when I had my first shift as a nursing student in the hospital. So it’s kind of special to me. 😀
Have a great week and happy reading!
I used to love Grey’s but I stopped watching somewhere along the way. Lately I’ve been thinking that I’d love to go back to the start and then watch all the series. I keep hoping it will come to Netflix! Have a good week Maureen. How is being back at work?
I’ve restarted this series so many times over the years. LOL!! It’s definitely my favorite show next to Gilmore Girls off course. 😀
Work is good, but it’s a lot to plan out and exhausting since I have to wake up around 5 to get everything ready and the baby at my mom’s or the daycare. But slowly I’m getting a little more used to it. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
Blog looks great!
I used to love Grey’s but I stopped watching somewhere along the way. Lately I’ve been thinking that I’d love to go back to the start and then watch all the series. I keep hoping it will come to Netflix! Have a good week Maureen. How is being back at work?
Thanks Trish.
Being back at work is definitely challenging at times. I’m a huge perfectionist and want to do everything perfect. Well.. being a mom, working three days a week, blogging, housework, spending time with my husband and having some me time is definitely a lot at times. I’m hopeful it will get easier to do everything though. I’ll probably just have to stop wanting to do everything perfect.:D
Ooh, I missed the day you moved the blog! Is it now WordPress? I wonder if you have Jetpack installed… because I’d like to follow you but I don’t see the option coming up (it normally comes up straight away)
Yes!! I’m on wordpress now. 😀
I haven’t heard of Jetpack before?
Good to hear you’re feeling much better. 🙂 I used to watch Grey’s Anatomy (it was one of my favourite shows) but then my favourites characters were killed or left the show for good and I put it aside.
Happy readings! 😉

I hear you! I’ve loved so many of my favorite characters watching that show.. but I still love it. Especially since I work in a hospital and it’s mostly just so different than my experiences. We even make jokes about it sometimes at work. I just love it! 😀
Have a great week and happy reading.
Love to hear that your still watching Grey’s Anatomy. Have you ever watched Friends from College, it’s on Netflix.
Yes, it’s still one of my favorite shows. 🙂
I’ve never watched ‘Friends from College’ before. I don’t think it’s on Netflix here.. but it looks fun.
Have a great week and happy reading.
I used to love Grey’s Anatomy but when the whole Karev/Jo/DeLuca thing went down I was done. Karev is one of my absolute favourite characters and I hated what was happening. I also got so tired of nobody ever getting to just be happy! It’s like the writers have never heard of a stable relationship… 🙄 Does itself out and re-capture the original charm? Or is it still crazy?
I get you. I’ve been a little tired of it at times. But I usually don’t watch it for a little while then.. and catch up later. I still love the show. And I think it got a lot better again. Honestly, since it’s a drama I don’t really mind the whole unstable relationships bit.. It kind of fits the genre I think. 🙂
Have a great week and happy reading!
I love Grey’s Anatomy, too. Sometimes I think I should watch it from the beginning on Netflix.
I love your name, BTW…it is my daughter’s middle name. (She’s Heather Maureen, named after her Irish grandmother Mary).
Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Thanks Laurel. I love my name too. 😀 But it gives me some trouble here in The Netherlands. My name is pronounced the way you say it in English, but here people tend to pronounce it differently which I don’t like and ends up in discusions about why my mom gave me an English name. LOL!! I won’t give up though!! 😀
Have a great week and happy reading.
I’m glad you are feeling better!
Thanks Jennifer 😉
Sorry to hear you weren’t feeling well at the start of the week, but that’s good you’re feeling better now. Sounds like you had a fun visit with your two former colleagues. Have a great week!
Thanks Lola. I sure had a fun time with my former colleagues. It’s so nice to catch up with people you’ve spend so much time with at one point in your life.
Have a great week and happy reading.
I’m glad you are feeling better! I gave up on Grey’s Anatomy after George died ( I know that was like way in the beginning lol) but I see so many talking about it still so someday I may give it another chance.
George dying was definitely the worst. But it got even worse! LOL! I still love it though, even if it makes me cry at times. 😀
Have a great week and happy reading!
I’m glad you’re feeling better. Enjoy your family time and have a great week!
Thanks AJ. Have a great week too 😉
I need to catch up on Grey’s Anatomy as well, I haven’t seen the new seasons yet. I’m sorry to hear you weren’t feeling all that well last week, hope this week is better. Have fun with your family!
I hope you’re able to catch up soon. I for one love catching up since I then can see several episodes instead of only one. 😀
Have a great week and happy reading.
I’m so glad you’re feeling better. I like Katie Reus but haven’t read this series. I am pretty set on reading series in order. Sorry it didn’t work better for you. You’re doing a good job of fitting in some reading. Enjoy!
Thanks Anne. I here you! If possible I also really like to read a series in order. Works the best.
Have a great week and happy reading.
