The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A Post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Life:
This week
has been a nice and quiet week. I’ve had to work and it has been very hot here.
Not so bad, since it is summer and I love going outside without having to wear
a jacket.. but unfortunately our home gets very very hot during the summer. And
after the hot temperatures this week, our home got almost unbearably hot. Thankfully
we received an AC from my husband’s best friend, which made our house
temperature a lot better to deal with.

Tuesday I
went to the airport to pick up my mom and her boyfriend. They had been on
vacation for over two weeks, and it’s definitely nice that they are back now. I
missed talking to my mom regularly.

This
weekend I have to work the nightshift, so I’ll probably visit you guys throughout
the week instead of on Sunday.

Books & Blogging:
Can you tell that I got excited about joining the WWBookClub? LOL!! |
Reading
wise it has been another good week. I’ve got some reading done. And I got super
excited about the Pottermore announcement of the start of the Wizarding World Book Club!! Off course I joined, so next to my ‘normal’ reads I’m now
re-reading the Harry Potter books. And that just makes me very happy! Sigh..

Blogging
wise I have been able to make some posts for next week. Which is pretty good
for me. And I also joined some blog tours and received some nice new books.
Life is definitely good at the blogging front.

Glad it's been a good week! It was hot here too but cooled off a bit this week. And yes AC is a godsend when it gets too hot lol. Our AC went out a few years ago during a heatwave and it was horribly hot in the house. ugh.
Hope you're having a great weekend, and have a good week!
Well.. AC's aren't that usual here since it rains most of the time. But I'm so happy we have one now! It was almost too hot to walk from the couch to the table. Sigh..
Have a great week Greg and happy reading!
ACs are definitely something you need when the weather gets too hot. We don't use them in the UK and I do miss them from my time in the states (though my husband would say screens were missed more as open windows = lots of flies etc. flying in and out in our attempt to keep the house cool).
We don't have a lot of AC's here too. But the sun shines in our home all day so it gets a little too hot during the summer.
Have a great week and happy reading!
That's a lovely picture 🙂 congrats on joining as well! Maybe I should too?
We haven't had the heat here yet, but I'd say it's been just right – somewhere around 20, although it could be more sunny. I like it when it's sunny.
Have a great reading week!
You definitely should. It doesn't get more fun than talking with other Potter fanatics about the books right?! 😀
Sunny is definitely good. This hot was a little too much really!
Have a great week and happy reading!
I'm glad you got an AC. I recall growing up just north of where I live now, and it was pretty hot, but nobody had AC back then. Fans. And later, evaporative coolers.
Enjoy your week, and thanks for sharing your books. I'm curious about The Bucket List.
Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Having the AC definitely makes our home that much easier to be in. It just gets sooo hot in here.
'The Bucket List' is definitely one I hope to be able to read soon. And I love that cover.
Have a great week and happy reading!
It gets very warm in our house too in the summer. It's hard to cool down the house. That does sound great you got an AC, I can imagine that helps a lot.
Yay for re-reading Harry Potter! I hope to read the whole series in English one day as I've only read them in dutch so far.
Your new books look great. I hope you enjoy Home Field, it does sound like a good one! Have a great week!
I hope you get to read them in English one day soon too Lola. I've read them in Dutch and in English and I think the English ones are even better. Translations aren't always that good I think. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
Glad that you got to see your mom this weekend!
Here’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays!
Thanks. It was really fun.
Have a great week and happy reading!
Nightshift! I remember those days, I feel for you. I found them hard. Hopefully it will be quiet and you'll be able to get some reading in 🙂 I'm looking forward to seeing your Mid Year Freak Out tag.

Nightshifts are definitely hard at times. Especially when it's this busy as they are now. Only one more to go, thankfully.
Have a great week and happy reading!
WW Book Club is going to be fun. I grew up in a home without AC. WE had one window unit in the dining room and some nights my sisters and I would sleep under the table.
AC's aren't very usual around here, since it doesn't get this hot a lot. But over the years it definitely keeps getting hotter and hotter. So I'm happy we got one.
Sounds kind of cozy with your sisters! 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
Glad to hear it has been nice quiet for you. That’s always welcomed when you have a little one at home and work long hours as you do 🙂 I think it’s great you have a close relationship with your mom! Enjoy your new AC! Especially since you’ll be home during the day this week 🙂
It was definitely nice, even without having a little one! 😉
My mom is my best friend. She was my maid of honor for our wedding!
Have a great week and happy reading!
