Another week has flown by and I’m wondering where the time went and what on earth I’ve been doing?! Seriously, I can’t seem to remember most of it!
But first things first.. Happy thanksgiving to all my US friends. I hope you all had a great day with your family. The pictures I saw on social media sure looked good!
This week I participated in the Black Friday Book Bonanza. Although I didn’t have a lot of time to join the fun, I sure enjoyed having my own Bonanza giveaway. I managed to stay away
from all the crazy shopping happening.. I didn’t even buy an eBook.. I bought one book this week.. but it was not on Black Friday, and wasn’t on Sale.. Sigh..
On Thursday my little girl and I visited my mom, and we spend the morning at a Christmas show. It was the first one this season we visited, and although it was fun I managed to keep my money in my pocked. This upcoming Friday we’ll be going to a Christmas fare in Germany, so I thought it would be wise to not spend anything here and just save it for next week. (Yes, I’m proud of my self-control!!)
Today, Saturday, my mother in law came to visit and we had a nice dinner. Also our curtains for the living room finally came in and I’m super excited about that. Slowly.. things are coming together.

I miss Christmas events. When I went to London I had a chance to visit several Christmas markets and they were so lovely – I wish we had them in my country.

Karen Rose is amazing, so good choice for a purchase. I’m glad to see someone has restraint. I did a little too much online shopping. The year is flying by so, so fast. I’m glad you had some time with family.

Well done for resisting spending! I must admit that I did some online shopping this weekend grabbing some Christmas gifts but they are all things I was planning on buying so I at least resisted impulse purchases! 🙂

I did some Black Friday shopping, but it was all online. I’m not brave enough to go into the stores. Have a good week!
Whaha.. Well.. I’m definitely not brave enough to go on Black Friday either! I visited the city on Saturday and it was crazy! I was glad to be back home!

I did some shopping for the big sale. Got some great deals. I usually avoid going out for those crazy sales but I had to work so I stopped on the way home.

Black Friday is so overrated, in my opinion. However, that doesn’t keep me from participating every year. I’m a sucker for a good deal. LOL So, I am also proud of your self-control. 😀
