Today I’m so excited to finally be back with the Sunday Post. This weekend we’ve been living in our new home for two weeks and life has finally started to feel ‘normal’ again. I’ve been getting my blog back in working order, and now I’m back to business.. It’s definitely time for the Sunday Post again too! And I can’t wait to read and see what you guys have been up too?!
Our new home is just perfect! After living with my mother in law for three months you can’t imagine how amazing it is to have a place to ourselves again. Nothing is finished yet, there are still lots of boxes to be opened.. but the living room feels cozy, we can find our clothes and I can cook meals. It’s perfect for us and we enjoy every minute.
In my absence here our baby girl has turned one.. yes one!! Crazy! We celebrated with her very own unicorn party and it was perfect! And not to forget.. I turned thirty! Ugh..
I’ve been slowly unboxing my books! And it makes me so happy! Books I haven’t been able to touch for almost two years, since they have been in storage. It’s just so good to get them back out there. When everything is done, I’ll definitely share some pictures of my very own library! Sigh..
Since getting back in my blogging routine I’ve been getting some new books which makes me really excited. I’ll share them down below.
But now.. How have you guys been? What did you read? Have you been on vacation? Tell me, what did I miss?

Congrats on the new home! I can only imagine how nice it feels after 3 months!
Happy (belated) birthday to you and your little girl! Honestly, 30 isn’t so bad… I liked it better than 21! 🙂
Thanks Nicci. It’s definitely so good to have our own home again. You’ll definitely realise how blessed you are when you miss it. LOL!
And thank you.. I don’t mind the 30 really. But at work, surrounded by all those much younger co-workers, feels a little strange! HAHA
Happy Reading!
Happy birthday! Enjoy being 30; it’s a great age. And enjoy these early years with your little one, too. They’ll be past before you know it.
Also, congratulations on your new home! It’s wonderful to have a place of your own, and to make it yours.
Thank you so much. Yes 30!! It feels like only yesterday when I was laughing with one of my girlfriends saying 30 is so old. LOL!
Have a great week and happy reading!
I am glad to hear you are settling into your new home well and things are starting to get back to normal. I can’t believe your daughter is one already! They grow so fast, don’t they? Happy belated birthday!
I hope you enjoy your new books! The Trouble with Christmas and Wrapped Up in You both are on my radar. I also really like the sound of Fake Date.
We are getting into the swing of our new routine for the school year. It’s always a bit crazy to start with, but I think I’m getting a handle on things.
Have a great week, Maureen!
Yes, one! Crazy right?! I still don’t really understand how I can have a one year old already. My pregnancy feels like only yesterday at times.
Good luck with getting into your new routine. I bet you’ll do great!
Have a great week and happy reading!
Welcome back to you too! and Congrats on the new Home! It’s nice to have a place to call your own. Happy Birthday to your little doll and to you too.
Awesome book haul! I hope you enjoy them!

Thanks Michelle! We are so happy with our new home. It’s definitely everything we ever wanted and talked about so that’s great!
I’m going pretty fast through my new book haul.. And I love them so far!
Have a great week and thank you for stopping by!
Congratulations on your new home! So exciting. All the unpacking is such a long process (at least it always is for me) but it gets done eventually. Happy belated birthday(s) to both you and your little one. 🙂 I think I have Fighting Redemption on my Kindle… just haven’t read it yet. (Story of my life. Ha!)
Thanks Tanya. We are definitely still unpacking. But we still need some closets to put stuff in that are in the boxes. So we are just taking it slow. LOL!
‘Fighting Absolution’ comes out this week and is AMAZING!! So I can’t wait to read ‘Fighting Redemption’ too! Hope you’ll love it 😉
Happy reading and thanks for stopping by!
Congratulations on your new home!
Your daughter is so cute, happy belated birthday to her and to you!
Thank you so much Vicky!
Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
Happy birthday!! And congrats on being moved in! That must be exciting. And your own library too? That sounds awesome. 🙂
Hope you’re having a great weekend!
Thanks Greg. It definitely feels great having our own home again. Makes you appreciate everything even more! 😀
Happy reading!
Glad you are loving your new home! I haven’t been on Sunday Posts for awhile now either because I was so busy in August.
Welcome back to you too then I quess. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
Congrats on the new home! I look forward to the day when I can have a place of my own. Since I’m struggling with trying to find a better job–as I have been for almost 2 years it seems–I still have to live at home. It does mean I can spoil myself with a few extra books here and there, but then the problem of where to stash them comes up! Lol. I dream of the day of having my own place filled with bookcases and likely a couch for me to read on and that’s about it! Lol.
Nice new reads too! Those are all totally new to me ones but I hope you will enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old/New Follower :)–I know I’ve followed you on twitter for awhile and only recently realized I wasn’t subscribed to your blog! A fact I quickly remedied! Lol.
Aah thanks for following! That’s awesome.
And living at home definitely doesn’t sound to bad if you’re able to spoil yourself a little right?! And stashing the books is always a problem, even with a new home! LOL!! Life of a bookblogger I guess. 😀
Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
Yay for a new home! I can’t believe your baby girl is already 1! My youngest is turning 5 at the end of the month and we will be having a unicorn/rainbow party for her.
Happy belated birthday! I can’t wait to see what your shelves look like. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Ah that’s awesome!! Congratulations!! Time sure does fly, especially with these little ones right?!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
Congrats on the new home! Yay for space and having your stuff where it’s supposed to go. It feels so good, doesn’t it? 😀 I hope you have a fantastic week!
It sure feels great in our new home!! I just love our place! LOL! Even the boxes I still have to unpack don’t bother me all that much! 😀
Happy reading!
Congrats on your new home. I know the feeling of unpacking books. It feels complete.
I’ve been having on and off blogging blues, but hopefully I can pick up pace again.
Hope you’re having a great week!
Definitely! It feels amazing! 😀
Sorry to hear about the blogging blues. We all have those sometimes.
Thanks for stopping by and happy reading.
Yay for the new home! I am also unpacking and some things have been in boxes for almost 5 years since I lived in Minneosta. It’s so good to be in our own space. Happy birthday to you and your little one! Wow one already!
You have some great looking reads – enjoy. Have a wonderful week.
It really is! I don’t think you really appreciate your own space as much, as when you don’t have it. Enjoy your new home! 😉
Happy reading!
