This week has been a nice and quiet one. I only had to work on Monday and this weekend, which gave me a lot of quality time with my little girl. On Tuesday one of my girlfriends came to visit with her little girl. It was fun to see how our girl reacted to another kid in her home. She was so sweet, giving all her toys to her little friend.
On Wednesday I took our girl to day care while I was free so I could do some cleaning in our home. It was definitely time I got our floor cleaned, and I also did some laundry and blogging. Overall, it was a good day.
On Thursday one of my girlfriends came over for lunch. We had a nice time catching up, and lunch was pretty good too. Friday my little girl and I had the day to ourselves. We went grocery shopping and in the afternoon she suddenly started walking the whole time. She had been taking a view steps, but now she is walking nonstop. It’s so fun and sweet to see.
Between all my visiting friends and spending time with my little girl, I had a view great books to review up on my blog this week. I hope you’ll be able to check them out.
This weekend I have to work the day shift, so I won’t be able to do as much blogging as I’d like to. So I’ll catch up with you guys on Monday.
I hope you’ll have a great weekend. What have you been reading?

I am glad you got to spend extra time with your daughter and were able to get some cleaning done. The floors will be my focus tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it. I hope you enjoy your new books and have a great week, Maureen!
Thanks Wendy.
Good luck with doing your floors. It’s definitely not my favorite thing to do either.. Blegh.. but I always feel pretty good when I get it done. Until it gets filthy again after only ten minutes or so. LOL!
Have a great week and happy reading.
I’m glad you had such a lovely week! It’s so exciting when they start properly walking…
I’m curious as to what you think of the BB Easton series! Praying For Rain is one I added to my kindle not too long ago and I’m looking forward to beginning reading!
Congratulations on your baby girl walking! That must have been really exciting. Sounds like your week was nice. Hope you have another one!
@Tiffany – Thanks Tiffany. She looks so cute walking. She is still so imbalanced.. but very cutel. LOL.
Have a great week and happy reading.
@Nicci – The Rain Trilogy by BB Easton is definitely amazing!! I really recommend it. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. And I just finished this series and it was soooo good!
I hope you’ll get to reading it soon too.
Have a great week and happy reading.
What a lovely week… catching up with friendships, and spending more time with your little girl. And now she’s fully on her feet – what a milestone:). I hope the coming week is also a good one, Maureen.
It really is a milestone. If there’s something I’ve learned as mom, it’s that these moment make me both sad and happy. Sigh.. And she can’t seem to stop walking now. LOL!!
Have a great week and happy reading.
Sounds like an awesome week! And yay for walking!! That must be so exciting! 🙂
I love that graphic- is that true or what?
I know right?! If it’s not mom-life that is keeping me up, it’s a book. And lets be honest.. I rarely have to go out of my bed for the little girl these last view months. LOL!
Have a great week Greg, and happy reading.
That’s so exciting she is walking! She’ll be more into everything. lol But it sounds like an amazing week having time with her.
