After being away for almost a month, I’m back blogging and Sunday Posting. After our baby boy Jack was born on February 22nd, I took a little break to enjoy our boy and get used to life as a family of four. But now I’m back and loving every minute of it. You can read a little more about baby boy’s arrival at my I’m Back post.

So.. What did I miss around here? What have you been reading?

Life here in the Netherlands is still pretty much the same. We are still in lockdown. There have been some minor changes, you can now visit some stores for a short amount of time if you make an appointment beforehand. But there are only a few people allowed to enter at the same time and if you’re like me you think about going to a store way to late to make an appointment. So I’m still only shopping online. And now I’m no longer pregnant, and feel physically all better I’m starting to feel the frustration about COVID and this lockdown more every day. The vaccination process isn’t going very well over here.. So the end of the COVID tunnel seems very far away still.

Although I haven’t been blogging, I have been reading a lot. I’ve been reading the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn, and am loving every book so far. Only three more books to go, and I’ve read all eight books. Sigh.. Obviously I’ve also been watching the Netflix show of Bridgerton multiple times already. LOL!!

Maureen’s Books celebrated it’s 7th Blogiversary on March 17th. Since I was taking a break, I shared my celebration giveaway this past Wednesday. If your interested you can still enter. 😉

I’m still on maternity leave till June 21st, so I’m trying to enjoy every minute of these days with my kids. And now I have the time, I’m also trying to think of ideas to possible do something more with my blog and reading. Don’t we all have the dream of making our love of books and reading into a profession? Maybe one day..

I hope you guys are doing well! Let me know what you have been up too!
