The
Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to
share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and
things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog
for the week ahead.

Life:
I’m a little late with this week’s Sunday Post, but I
thought better late than never. This week was crazy and I’m totally exhausted. I’ve
been working Tuesday till Sunday and I haven’t had a lot of free moments. And honestly
I’ve been running on coffee for a while now. I can’t wait for next Monday (the
21st) when I finally have a free day.
On Monday I had my only free day and I spend it reading,
and relaxing. In the evening my fiancé and I went to a concert of The Lumineers
in Amsterdam. We’ve been to there previous concert here in the Netherlands and
we loved it. And this one was even better if you ask me. They are so good
live!!
Of course I followed the US elections this Tuesday.. Well.. I was shocked to be honest. I hope Trump will prove to be a better president than I think he will be.
Friday evening we decided to go out for dinner. We didn’t
have a lot of ‘us’ time in the previous two weeks and we really needed a nice
dinner. We went to this beautiful and luxurious restaurant. We totally felt out
of place but it was great!  We laughed,
we talked.. the food was amazing. We really had a great time.
Yesterday we had a huge exercise in the Major Incident
Hospital I also work at. Once a year we have this exercise to make sure we’re
as prepared as we can be if a major incident actually happens, and this year
was the biggest one yet. It was really thrilling, fun and also very exhausting.
We did really good and I’m so honored to be a part of the team. At night my mom
and her boyfriend came over and prepared this tasty meal for us. It was a
perfect ending to a perfect day.
And today I have to work the evening shift. But first I’m
catching up on my blog! 😀
Books & Blogging:
Because I was really busy this week, I didn’t have a lot
of reading time. I’m participating the #HoHoHoRAT Read-A-Thon and I did manage
to listen to one Christmas themed audiobook, and read almost one Christmas
themed book. So I’m pretty excited about that. Since the Read-A-Thon isn’t over
yet.. I think I can manage to finish the book. I hoped for more, but seeing
what kind of week I had I think I did pretty good.
I also shared a new Discussion Post. I really enjoyed writing that one. I hope you can stop by and tell me your thoughts!
Since I have to work in a view hours I probably can’t
visit you all today, but I promise I catch up during the week. 😉
