I hope you all had a great Christmas! Can you guys believe it’s already the last Sunday Post of the year? And Christmas is already over? Time is going crazy fast these last few weeks.
We had a nice an quiet Christmas. Which suited me well to be honest. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we just spend with the three of us. I cooked us a nice dinner, and we went outside for a little bit since the weather was so nice for the first time in days. On Saturday my mom and her boyfriend, and my grandma came over for a Christmas dinner. Like I said.. Nice and quiet. And it was perfect, since I had to lay down every few hours.
Next week will be my last week of work, before I go on my early maternity leave. And I’m so ready for it to be honest. Every day, getting up at a certain time, and being on a time clock is just so hard when your body is hurting. So I’m excited for my last day to come. I only have to work on Tuesday, and will only be going to work to say goodbye on Thursday.
My husband is off from work next week, so we are able to spend some time together. Due to the lockdown we aren’t doing much, but just being together without having to do something is nice. And our little girl will probably love having both her parents there every day.
I hope you guys have a good last week of 2020. And I hope you’ll have a great New Years and an amazing 2021! Things can only get better next year right?! ?

Your Christmas sounds lovely, Maureen. And I have to say I’m happy for you that you’ll start your early maternity leave very soon. You have a fairly physical job, and now, it’s time for you to take care of you and the baby you’re carrying.
Have a wonderful last week of 2020.
Thank you Linda. I definitely plan on taking things easy the upcoming weeks.
Have a great week and happy reading!
I’m glad you ‘re finally starting this maternity leave, you seemed to be in need of it and have some relaxing time off before having a baby is much needed ! Take care and enjoy your week with your family 🙂

Sounds like a lovely lowkey Christmas, Maureen. Glad you enjoyed it. And very glad that you’re down to just one more week of work. What a relief that must be. Enjoy the time with your husband this week!
It sure was lovely Tanya.

Thanks Gayathri. Happy reading.
Maureen, I am very glad you enjoyed a nice, quiet Christmas with your family. 🌟🎄❤ I am definitely one of those people looking forward to bidding 2020 goodbye and with vaccines ready to be distributed it looks like things will get easier in 2021. I pray you will have a joyous and hopeful New Year! 🎆
They definitely can’t get a lot worse right?! LOL!
I hope you’ll have a great New Year too. Happy reading.

Yes, it was definitely a good one.
Have a great week and happy reading.
It IS the last post of 2020, isn’t it (or Sunday Post anyway). Wow, that feels weird (although I won’t miss 2020). Anyway, glad you had a nice holiday. Quiet can be good even if we don’t like the reason for it haha! Hope you are well and have a fabulous New Year!
It sure does feel weird right?! Have a great week and Happy New Year Greg.
Glad you had a nice holiday! Our family get together is being postponed a bit. We’re hoping for Tuesday but it may also depend on my brother-in-law’s work schedule, so we’ll have to see. Nice quiet holidays are usually what we have too, but with a family COVID scare we had to postpone our usual gathering. That tree is teasing me with all its presents! Plus I am dying to watch my family open their gifts that I painstakingly picked out for them! They’re all pretty hard to shop for! Lol.
Nice that you have break for your TBR pile. Mine usually only grows, though this week, it didn’t really grow too much since I just got different copies of books I already have…one being in my TBR pile, and another new book that is a super easy read! I might have to save that for next year to help jump start my Goodreads challenge! Lol!
Hope you have a safe and Happy New Year with your family!
Here’s my StS
