The
Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ Itโ€™s a chance to
share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and
things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog
for the week ahead.

This week I have been feeling like an old lady. Yep.. I
know Iโ€™m just 26, but this week I sure as hell didnโ€™t feel like it. I have been
having these headaches and my neck has been killing me. So the first two days
of this week, although I had to work, Iโ€™ve been taking it easy. At least as
easy as I can do things. Iโ€™m not very good in doing thinks slow.. But I
definitely tried.
On Wednesday we had our national holiday called Kingโ€™s day.
On April 27th we celebrate our Kingโ€™s birthday through music, many
street parties, flea markets and all sorts of fun things. I always love this
day because me and my boyfriend spend the day outside in our town listening and
dancing to the music, celebrating with colleagues and friends and we eat all
kinds of bad things. Fries, hamburgers etc. Itโ€™s really a fun day. The King
himself visits another city each year with his family and takes part in the
events the city organized. Itโ€™s really a great day and one of my favorite
holidays.
Unfortunately this year the weather was really bad. Itโ€™s
was raining, there was a lot of wind and it was really cold. But we still
managed to visit our town and walk around for a little while. Normally we would
be outside till late at night, but this year, around 3 p.m. we were so cold we
went home and watched the King on the television. It was still a fun day.
Thursday I had to work the evening shift. Thankfully my
neck was feeling a little better and I could do my job without having a lot of
pain.
Friday it was time to rest before I had to work the
nightshift again. Three nightshifts this time. And no.. Itโ€™s not normal that I
have to work nightshifts again after just getting out of them two weeks ago.
But after these three I wonโ€™t be having nightshifts for a while, so Iโ€™m okay
with it.
Due to the nightshifts my weekend was slow. Saturday I
worked on preparing my posts for the Blog
Ahead (mini) challenge
that starts today. Check out my post to see my goal
and progress in the upcoming days.
So thatโ€™s it for me this week.. Reading wise I didnโ€™t get
to read as much as I wanted since I was a little cranky about my headache and
neck pains. I hope it will keep getting better this upcoming week.
