Happy October!! This week was another busy one and I was so ready for this weekend. On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday I had to work. On Tuesday I had a day off, but I still took the kids to their sitter because I had an online meeting with my new job. I’m even more excited about my new job after that meeting to be honest. Next to my work meeting, we had an appointment about a loan we want for an extension to our home. It went well, but boy what a lot of paperwork. It was a busy day!
Today, I’m writing this on Friday, we had a nice quiet day at home. After four busy days in a row, it was definitely nice to have one day where we could stay home. On Saturday we are going to the city to get our kids some fall/winterproof clothes and shoes. The weather has definitely changed this week, and it’s time to get some warmer stuff. In the evening I’m having a girls night at my girlfriends place. Sunday we are going to our nephew’s birthday party, and I hope to do some blogging.
I also got some reading time in this week, which was really nice. I’m still a bit behind, but I’m catching up. I also went kind of crazy on the sales this week.. I got lots of freebies!! My TBR is definitely out of control! LOL!!

I’m excited to see cooler weather come around. Summer is nice, but cozy weather where soup and tea is plentiful and sweaters are in style can’t be beat for me.
