Life:
This week
has been another busy one. I came out of the nightshift on Monday morning, and
it honestly was the only day I didn’t have a lot planned. But since I worked
during the night I slept till 1 p.m. and already half my day was gone. But I
spent it blogging and reading which I really enjoyed.

On Tuesday
I had to do some errands and pick up my new passport. The guy at the desk
called my picture ‘interesting’ which was kind of funny since the picture was
taken when I had my braces and I wasn’t allowed to laugh. So it kind of looks
like I’m in pain. LOL! In the afternoon I had lunch with a girlfriend. We
talked and had a nice meal. In the evening a package arrived for me. My guy had
bought me two Harry Potter wands (One from Harry Potter and one from Hermione). So cool!! I’ve wanted them forever but always
found them to expensive. Now I can finally add them to my Harry Potter
collection. It was definitely a good day.

my best friend came by and we did some crafting for my wedding. The end result
was amazing and I can’t wait to show everyone.

Thursday
and Friday I worked the dayshift and our evenings were also pretty booked. And
this weekend I have to work the evenings which I really don’t like. I prefer
dayshift and nights. But sometimes we have to do things we don’t like as much
and I definitely can’t complain since I almost never work the evening shift.

Next to
being crazy busy with everything I can’t wait for it to be March 17th.
I will be having a week off from work and I’m going to do a lot of reading and
wedding stuff. Time can go a little faster now! 😀

Books & Blogging:

I was able to get some reading time between all the things I had to do this
week. The Mini Blog Ahead challenge started this week in which I’m
participating. I made some plans for the upcoming weeks and I hope to get some
posts done this weekend and on Monday. This challenge is definitely coming
right in time.. I can use a nice cushion of ready to go posts with all that is
going on. Wish me luck! 😉

WOW you're getting married soon! I feel like it isn't that long ago when he proposed to you while you were in Switzerland on vacation. I'm sure you're excited, and I can't wait to see pictures of the big day.

I didn't get to much reading done this week as I have some courses and work but I plan to do lots of reading this weekend. I can't wait to have a few days over in the middle of March. My sister us getting married and she is looking forward to crafting stuff for her wedding. Have a great week.

Ah, passport photos! I renewed my passport, and the rules for the photo were strict: no smiling, no glasses (?), and hair tucked behind the ear. Needless to say, it's an unflattering photo.

Seriously crazy week but sounds like you had some really lovely moments too! How awesome to get the wands! You look so excited! Hopefully this week will fly by so you can get to your time off. Passport photos are absolutely the worst, I always look so grumpy and mean in mine! 🙁

The whole sleep thing is how I feel every weekend. I can go to bed at 10 pm and fall fast asleep and won't wake up until noon the next day. How awesome to get your wands! I think I might add that to my wishlist. I don't have a lot of bookish accessories. I am definitely needing the cushion from Mini Blog Ahead! It will also give me some time to just read and write reviews in April. Have fun planning your wedding to-dos!
