And Friday
and this weekend I had to work again. It’s been snowing, and melting, and
snowing since Thursday evening so the roads are a little crazy but I’ll
survive. Let’s just hope those people who don’t know how to drive in winter
weather stay home.
And yet
another week has flown by. I can’t believe we are already two weeks in to
January 2017. Is time going by faster and faster or what? Sometimes I feel
overwhelmed with how fast time passes. I’m seriously considering to just stop
sleeping! LOL!

On Monday
I went to the zoo with my grandmother. We had these coupons so one of us could
go for free. And since it had been ages since I last went to the zoo I was
really looking forward to spending the day there with my grandmother. And
although the weather wasn’t really good and it was really cold we had a great
time. There weren’t a lot of people so we could watch all the animals in our
own pace. Definitely a fun day. I felt like a little girl all over again.

Tuesday
and Wednesday I had to work again. Work was busy but good and it felt great to
be back at work again after me being sick last week. On Thursday I went to the
movie ‘Allied’ with my movie buddy. I will share my thoughts on that one this
Tuesday. I’ll just say one thing.. I enjoyed seeing Brad Pitt in action again!

Books & Blogging:
I had a
pretty good reading week. I was able to read every day for at least an hour,
most days anyway. Blogging wise I managed to keep up with my prescheduled posts
which still feels pretty good. And I finally received a copy of ‘Talking As Fast As I Can’ which really made my week.

On Friday
I shared a new post ‘Adventures In Nursing: Becoming a Nurse’. I was a little
nervous about sharing that one since it’s very personal, but I liked writing
it. I think I’m going to try it out for at least a little while. Maybe if I’ll
keep liking it I can keep going. I sure have enough nursing stories to share.

It snowed and melted here too, and it's been pretty cold. Isn't winter great? lol glad you got to get to the zoo with your grandmother, how fun. I haven't been to a zoo in ages! I thin us adults need to remember zoos are fun. 🙂

If only we could just stop sleeping lol. I haven't been to the zoo in ages! Now I kind of want to go. Glad you had fun and that you're feeling better 🙂 And cute picture! I tried doing that with a book once and it just looked really weird.
I really think that would be the solution for our time-moving-to-fast problem! 😀 Too bad we need it!

It sounds like you had a good week. I'm not finding that January's flying by at the moment. In fact it feels like it's dragging a little and I'm struggling – wishing I was still on holidays but feeling like my work days are neverending.
I'm glad you enjoyed the zoo and that you're getting some reading done.
Sorry to hear time is dragging for you. I heard that's a normal feeling for most people in January! I hope February will be much better for you 😉

I hadn't been to the zoo in ages too. I used to enjoy is so much. And I really enjoyed it again. It definitely brought back memories! And who doesn't enjoy watching animals?!
