This week has flown by super-fast. We had our week vacation, and we definitely spend it the way we planned. We where mostly at home with our little girl, we relaxed and we finished our little girls ‘big girl’ room. It was so much fun. While my husband was putting the furniture together, she helped by giving stuff. And while I cleaned, and decorated she also helped. It was a blast and she has been sleeping in her ‘big girl’ bed for a few days now. We where prepared for it being a struggle, going from a crib to a ‘normal’ bed, but she adjusted right away. And she is so proud in the morning. It’s just so sweet to watch.

We also had another echo to look at our baby so we could find out the gender. After we tell my husband’s best friend, hopefully this week,  I’ll share it here too.. But we’re super excited.

Monday we’ll both be getting back to work. Which will take some getting used too. Covid is on it’s big return here, and we now have several colleagues who where tested positive. They are doing well so far I’ve heard, but this means we are having big problems with filling the shifts. And nurses are already very much needed at this moment! And since I’m not able to do patient stuff, on advice of my midwife due to my back problems, I’m a little afraid of what’s waiting for me on Monday. I’ll see I guess.

I’ll also be working the upcoming two weekends. I’ll definitely try to enjoy this ‘normal’ Sunday a little extra.
