This week has flown by super-fast. We had our week vacation, and we definitely spend it the way we planned. We where mostly at home with our little girl, we relaxed and we finished our little girls ‘big girl’ room. It was so much fun. While my husband was putting the furniture together, she helped by giving stuff. And while I cleaned, and decorated she also helped. It was a blast and she has been sleeping in her ‘big girl’ bed for a few days now. We where prepared for it being a struggle, going from a crib to a ‘normal’ bed, but she adjusted right away. And she is so proud in the morning. It’s just so sweet to watch.
We also had another echo to look at our baby so we could find out the gender. After we tell my husband’s best friend, hopefully this week, I’ll share it here too.. But we’re super excited.
Monday we’ll both be getting back to work. Which will take some getting used too. Covid is on it’s big return here, and we now have several colleagues who where tested positive. They are doing well so far I’ve heard, but this means we are having big problems with filling the shifts. And nurses are already very much needed at this moment! And since I’m not able to do patient stuff, on advice of my midwife due to my back problems, I’m a little afraid of what’s waiting for me on Monday. I’ll see I guess.
I’ll also be working the upcoming two weekends. I’ll definitely try to enjoy this ‘normal’ Sunday a little extra.

So pleased you enjoyed your time off as a family working on your little girls new bedroom. 👧 This week has been a busy, tiring one for me as we opened our school full-time to all students. So it was nice to treat myself to meals out last night and later today! 😊 I wish you all the best with your return to work and that shifts won’t be too long or hard. Take care and happy reading in the coming week. 😃
I’m so glad you got to treat yourself a little after such a busy week. Good for you. 😉
I hope your pregnancy will be a time full of love and I wish you and your family all the happiness and health 🙂
Thank you Esther.
How sweet that your little one wanted to help with her new room. 🙂 And I’m glad she adjusted right away to her new bed. I hope this week back at work goes well for you!
It was so cute. I could have looked at her all day trying to help her daddy. 😀
Congrats on your girl taking to sleeping in her big girl bed so well! I bet she’s very excited about it. I wish you all the best for your return to work. It’s a scary time to be a nurse, and I hope the numbers won’t go up too much and that the situation can be contained soon.
Thanks Ruby. It’s definitely disturbing to see that the Covid numbers are getting worse every day. And now the government has reinforced several rules we had during the lockdown in March and I’m just sad about it. But hopefully thanks will get better again soon.
That’s so exciting she likes her big girl bed! I hope things go smoothly for you at work. I don’t think the cases ever went down in the US much. People here are just stupid. I get they are tired of the pandemic but the longer they fight the necessary adjustments like masks and handwashing the longer it will be before we can get back to more normal activities. Have a good week!

I think we are all tired of this pandemic. But people are just so selfish at the moment and only thinking of themselves. It’s just so frustrating. Sigh..
Glad you enjoyed your time off! It’s always nice to get away from work for a few days! Hope the return won’t be too stressful.
Nice new reads too! All totally new to me ones. I hope you enjoy them!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

It sure was nice to have a little break from work.
And I’m super excited about these new reads. 🙂
Glad your family is doing well! Hope you have a great week!
Thanks Ronyell
So glad you got your daughter’s “big girl room” together. How excited she must be! And what fun to have the gender reveal. That’s always so exciting. Have a wonderful week!
Thanks Katherine. And yes she was so excited. Ever since she moved to her new room she wants to go to bed after dinner. LOL!
