This second week of our vacation has flown by and I’m sad it’s coming to it’s end already. We’ve had such a great time with our little family and we enjoyed every minute.
On Tuesday we had another day in the Zoo which was great as always. We went early this time, and it was still pretty quiet which was very nice.
On Wednesday we took our little girl to the beach for the first time. You really had to see her face! She loved the sea and the sand so much. She was giggling and squealing the whole time. It was so much fun to see. It definitely made the whole ‘sand everywhere’ thing worth it. We ended the day with barbecuing in our garden. It was such a wonderful day.
On Thursday my husband picked up our new garden set. We weren’t supposed to get a new one, since we already got our living room almost completely refurnished including a new television, but on Wednesday I broke one of our garden chairs. And since it’s only June, and we had only one chair left in the garden, we had to get a new one. We ended up doing some garden work too that day, and our girl spend her day in her little pool.
On Friday we went to a Poultry museum where we were invited to by a co-worker of my husband. Their where little baby chicks, which was obviously very fun for out little girl. She played some games and just had a blast. In the afternoon my parents visited, and in the evening my brother in law came to visit.
Today, on Saturday, we spend the morning with my mother in law, and tonight I have a Sushi date with a girlfriend. And tomorrow, Sunday, is already our last vacation day and we’re spending it in our pajamas doing nothing. LOL! I’m already looking forward to that.
Next week it’s back to work! But I’m not thinking about that.. yet!
In the Bookish News part below I have something exciting to share! 😀

It seems you are managing to fit loads into your vacation – I love the pick of your and your girlie by the sea. We visited a local beach with my daughter and the grandchildren on Wednesday and had a lovely time with them. Eliza like padding, but enjoyed playing with the stones and shells, too! I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday and the weather is good enough to spend more time in the garden:).
We definitely did a lot. That’s why we needed a pyjama day on Sunday! LOL!!! We’ve been busy.
Your beach day sounds great too. I’m glad your grandkids enjoyed themselves.
