This week has definitely flown by and the days have been busy. I haven’t had a lot of down time, so my reading and blogging took the backseat this week.
On Monday we had our appointment with the midwife, and an ultrasound to see our baby boy. During this appointment the midwife checked the baby from head to toe. It was so beautiful to see, and our baby boy is doing so well. It was such a relieve to hear her say that everything is looking great.
While I’ve been taking things slowly with the baby room and baby stuff these first few months, ever since Monday I’ve been feeling like I’m way behind and I need to get everything together soon! LOL!! Hormones I guess. But it’s also a little strange to think that our baby girl was born with 36 weeks, so that’s in 16 weeks already. I’ve been making to-do lists all week to try and make my head feel less stressed. Like I said.. hormones!
I had to work on Wednesday and Thursday. And I have to work this weekend. Things in the hospital are hard, and the shifts are very busy. Since I have these back and pelvic problems, I can only do the non-physical stuff. Which makes me feel like I’m a burden to my colleagues. Especially in this Covid mess.. It’s not a nice feeling.
I hope you all are doing well! Happy reading.

Maureen, it is lovely to hear your baby is doing well and please don’t feel like you are a burden, I am sure your colleagues understand much more than you realise. Take care, and I hope you enjoy getting things ready for the baby and sneak in some time for reading and blogging, too. 👋📚😃
Thank you Jessica. That’s very kind.
Happy reading.
I’m so happy to hear that everything is going well with your baby boy! Those ultrasound appointments are the best, aren’t they?
I hope you’ll continue to be careful with your back and pelvis at work – even if you can’t do all the physical stuff, I’m sure your colleagues appreciate the fact that you’re there.
Sending you some hugs to keep you going 🙂
They sure are Linda. It so amazing to see our little boy like that. I can’t wait to get another ultrasound 😀
Thank you for your kind words.
Stay safe and happy reading.
It’s great to see that everything is doing well with the baby, I wish there were ultrasounds when I was pregnant with my daughters instead of those tiny pictures I had ! Take care and stay safe 🙂
It’s definitely a wonderful thing being able to an ultrasound. 😀
Happy reading.
I am sure your colleagues don’t consider you a burden and remember every bit helps them. I am glad to know about the Ultrasound! Have safe fun!
Thanks Gayathri. I really hope so.
Happy reading.
What a comfort to know all is well with your baby boy – technology is wonderful when you can get that reassurance these days. Please don’t worry that your colleagues think you aren’t pulling your weight – I’m sure that isn’t the case. It’ll be those hormones, again! Have a peaceful week and put your feel up when you can, Maureen:)).
Definitely. I felt so happy and relaxed when I heard everything was going well with the baby. And you’re probably right about those hormones. LOL!
Happy reading.
That’s great news that all is well! I know what you mean about the time, my eldest surprised me at 36 weeks so I was constantly expecting my youngest to appear at the same time. The hormones I don’t miss!
LOL!! No those hormones are definitely challenging at times.
Happy reading.
Glad the baby is doing well! That’s got to be a relief during these wacky times. I hope the pregnancy continues to go smoothly for you.
Nice new reads too! Totally new to me ones but I hope you will enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

It’s definitely a huge relief. And I’ve been feeling him kick more and more. It’s such a special time.
Happy reading.
It’s great your baby boy is doing well. I find making lists or notes really helps me because then I don’t worry I will forget something and I can squeeze in things when I have time, if I have the “whole” list. I hope you will feel well this week and get in a few moments of reading.

That’s definitely something I’m going to need to more: making lists. I already make lists, but now with my pregnancy I keep forgetting things. So I think I’ll have to make more and more lists. LOL!
Happy reading.
