After last week’s flu disaster, I’m happy to report this week has been much better. After going outside for the first time in six days on Sunday, I felt much better and on Monday I got back to work. It’s been busy at work, trying to catch up on everything I missed the last week, preparing for my two week vacation starting this Friday and trying to not do a lot of work at home. If only there was more time in a day.. But I’m getting there slowly.
Tuesday the little girl and I visited my mother in law. And Wednesday I had to work again. In the evening I got my eyebrows done and had a relaxing evening at home.
On Thursday the little girl and I visited a friend from work who has a new home. We catched up and just had a very fun morning.
My husband came home early on Thursday to take care of our little girl, and at 3.30 p.m. I went to pick up my mom and we went to the television studios in Amsterdam for the recording of an episode of All You Need Is Love. This is a pretty big Dutch tv show, hosted by Robert ten Brink. In this show he finds love, fixes broken hearts and operates as a true matchmaker. Getting people together who are in long distance relationship etc. t’s rather cheesy, but I love it and it has been a hit here since the early nineties. I signed up to be in the audience a little while ago. I just always wanted to see how things are backstage. It was a fun evening with my mom, and tonight it will air so my husband and I are going to have a nice and quiet evening watching television.
Friday was another work day. And this weekend we are doing some stuff around the house and just enjoying time together with our little girl.

Thanks Gayathri. So far so good.. but as a nurse it’s kind of hard to stay away from it. Luckily I had the ‘common’ flu almost two weeks ago. So I’m feeling much better. 😉

I’ve had The Simple Wild on my TBR for awhile, but haven’t gotten around to it! Sorry you’ve been sick – – always a bummer. However, it sounds like you’ve had an amazing week overall. 🙂
