Life:
Today, Saturday,
is the first real day of my vacation and we have a fun day planned. This
afternoon we are going for drinks at a bar downtown with some friends, and tonight
we are going out for Sushi. Just the two of us. It’s been a while that we’ve
been out with just the two of us.
This last
week has been a challenge for sure. I was very tired after finishing up my
nightshift Monday morning. Nightshift in combination with my upcoming vacation
definitely made me feel like I hadn’t slept in months. I was super tired. And I
had to work the dayshift Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. And if that wasn’t
enough we also had to go to the dentist two evening in a row. But thankfully
that’s all done now and I finally have my week of. Boy was I looking forward to
this week!!

exciting thing about this week was that our wedding invitations are now at my
mom’s house ready to be send. She wants to put some kind of note inside (I have
no idea what she’s planning!!). They will be send next week and it’s just super
exciting to get closer and closer to our wedding day.

The Blog Ahead Mini Challenge I participated in ended this Wednesday and although I didn’t
reach my goal I was pretty happy with my result in the end. And since I now
have some free time I hope to get more posts ready since I won’t be blogging
much in May, due to our wedding and honeymoon.

Reading
wise I finished only one book this week. I was so tired that every time I saw
my bed I fell asleep almost immediately. But I also hope to catch up on my
reading this week. I did manage to listen to almost half of an audiobook this Monday
while I was cleaning our home after my nightshift. So I did do something! LOL!!

I am glad you have reached your week off! Enjoy every minute of it. I am so sorry about the dentist visits. I hate having to go to the dentist. I can't believe the invitations are ready to be sent out already. The wedding will be here before you know it. How exciting!
