So this week was crazy busy. I had a packed day on Monday, on Tuesday I had to do some housework because our home was looking like a disaster, and from Wednesday till Sunday I’m working again. It’s been a productive week, but it was also just super busy and I’m glad when this weekend is over and I’m able to slow down again.
This week we picked our new Maureen’s Books Book Club pick and I’m super excited to start reading. If you’d like to join you can still sign up in the post below or here on the right.
I got a new planner this week. My old one just didn’t have enough writing space and since I’m old school and love to write everything down I just decided it was time to get a new one. Now I only have to get some free time to write everything in and get it organized.
Like I said before, this weekend I’m working the evening shift, so I probably won’t visit you guys until the beginning of next week. But I’ll be there! 😉
I hope everything is going well with you guys!

Hope you have a nice and relaxing weekend Maureen! And yay for a new book club pick. Enjoy!!!
Thanks Greg.
I hope you are able to relax and slow down after such a busy week. I have always wanted to keep a planner, but I’m awful at it.
Happy readings!
Thanks Tania. I love planners. I might have three or four actually LOL!!
Yea for no new books!! Sometimes you need to take that break.
I am glad you are enjoying your Book Club still. We will be having our first Book Club in 6 months next Monday. Can’t wait!
Happy reading and enjoy your week. Here’s my The Sunday Post #9
Definitely. My TBR was getting so high I just needed to put a stop on it for a while.. Not to long though!! LOL!
I’m glad to hear your book club is starting back up to. It’s so much fun!
Happy reading.
I hope the night shifts are going okay and that the coming week will give you an opportunity to rest and recuperate after work and all that housework, too. Take care and happy reading. 🙂
Thank god it was an evening shift.. night shifts would have been even harder.
Happy reading.
Ugh housework, my least favourite activity!
Wishing you a relaxing weekend, and a great reading week
I have this love/hate relationship with housework. Sometimes I love it.. sometimes I really hate it. LOL!
Happy reading.
A busy week for you with work and house work. I hope you get some time to relax this week. I still want to read the August pick but my TBR is out of control. Maybe sometime I can join in reading.
Anne – Books of my Heart Here is my Sunday Post
Thanks Anne. I hope you’ll get to Virgin River some day soon.. I really was a fun read 😉
Happy reading.
I do love a planner, I have a new one due this week as my current one is tiny!
Have a lovely week!
Planners are the best. I totally have a planner and notebook addiction. LOL!
Happy reading.
Busy busy week! Work weeks like that are so draining. My first “normal” 5 day work week since lockdown in March is next week and I’m going to be so tired! 🙁
I hope your workweek is going well.. I totally get why you’d be tired after such a long time.
Happy reading.
