Another
week has flown by and the one thing I need to start by saying.. Are you guys as
ready for the summer as I am? I mean I’ve just had it with the cold weather,
the rain and the storms. I’m in desperate need for some sun. Sigh.. No more complaining
from this point. LOL!!

This week
was busy but still good. I worked four days. On Wednesday I went to visit my
mother in law and we had lunch together. We talked a lot and we just had a good
time. I only planned on going two hours at most, but in the end I stayed four
hours. I guess we had to do some catching up.

On Friday
after work my husband and I went out to dinner. Just the two of us, in a new
restaurant in town. It was really nice to just be out together. The food wasn’t
spectacular and the waiters were just all over the place but we laughed a lot
and just enjoyed each other’s company. It
was a good evening.

And today,
Saturday, my husband and I slept in and
had a nice and slow morning. Tonight we are going to my mom’s place for dinner,
and my grandma is also coming. We have a big surprise for her. I can’t wait.

Books & Blogging:
I’ve been doing
some re-reading of favorites because I just haven’t been able to read as much
as I used too. There’s just to much going on. But reading my favorite books
again is working out great. I also finished the Sign Up for a Book Promo I’m organizing
in April. It was first scheduled in January, but unfortunately we had to
reschedule. It’s now up in April and if you want you can sign up too. 😉

Yes I am so ready for summer. It snowed here again all day and I'm so over it lol. Everythnig is white *sigh*
Glad you had a good week. And The Bad daughter looks like a fun one. 🙂
Sigh.. Snow. Apparently it's coming here too this week. And it's freezing, a lot. They said on the radio to get your ice-skates ready. Somehow I was thinking more of getting my summer clothes out of the closet at the start of February.
Have a great week Greg, and happy reading!
Oh man, I wish I got The Boy on the Bridge! Really want to read that one. And also, you are not the only one missing summer – I am just like that! I literally power down every time the sun sets (which is every day after 3pm) xD
Whaha.. I just can't wait for summer to get here. It's taking to damn long. Sigh..
Happy Reading!
I love Joy Fielding's books, and I've been eagerly awaiting The Bad Daughter.
Your plans for Saturday sounded wonderful…hope you enjoyed your dinner.
Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.
Dinner was definitely very fun. I had a great time.
Happy Reading!
Glad you had a lovely weekend with your family! Hope you have a great week!
Here’s my Sunday Post !
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays!
Thanks. My week has definitely been fun and busy. 😉
Happy Reading!
That's how we felt the last time The Man and I went to the River Walk. We tried a new restaurant and it was a total bomb, but we enjoyed the night out. Sounds like a lovely week except for the weather. I was shocked when I went out today and it was warm and the sun was out. It was so blustery yesterday!!
I just can't wait for it to be warm outside again. Here it's really cold at the moment, and I'm just so ready for summer.
Happy Reading!
Wow, you’ve got a lot going on. That random pic is hilarious. I hope you have a great week!
Aj @ Read All The Things!
That pic definitely made me smile, so I just had to share.
Happy Reading!
I'm totally ready for summer. Although, it has been a little warmer here in TX.
Sounds like you had a great week, hope this one is just as good! ~Aleen
Glad to hear it's been warmer where you are. Here it's still very cold. I can't wait for Summer to be here.
Happy Reading.
I really enjoyed The Boy on the Bridge, but not quite as much as the first book in the series, The Girl with All the Gifts.
I haven't read the first book. But this book really sparked my interest. I can't wait to start reading.
Happy Reading!
I would be happy to send you some of our sunshine if you would kindly share the rain? If only, right? It sounds like you have been busy with work. I am glad you were able to have a nice evening out with your husband! Valentine's Day is coming up and everyone is advertising "dinner for two" or something "for two" and my daughter doesn't understand why it can't be for three. Why would they exclude anyone, she wants to know. Haha. Valentine's Day is a family affair in our house. 🙂 I am anxious to read The Boy on the Bridge. I liked Carey's first book set in that world so much. I hope you are well, Maureen!
That's so funny!! LOL!! And your daughter is so right! Valentine should be for than two!! Whaha
Thanks for stopping by Wendy. Happy reading!
