And another week has flown by. Crazy! Our summer vacation started this Friday afternoon, and I’m so ready for it. We obviously are staying home mostly, but we planned some fun trips. I’m going to get my hair done, we’ve planned some zoo trips with our little girl, we’re going to see some family (from a safe distance) we haven’t seen in months and I’m planning on reading a lot. And we will probably do some spur of the moment stuff to.
This last week towards our vacation was busy with the usual. Getting work projects nicely round up, making plans and just feeling tired.. which I always feel in the days up to the start of my vacation. We also had a funeral this week, which was definitely a little odd with all those Corona restrictions.
And we started our vacation this Friday with going out to dinner. Just the husband and I. One of my girlfriends came to stay with our little girl, and we went to the place we got married and had a very nice dinner. It was so nice to have a little date night like this again.
I look forward to being able to catch up with you guys this week again.

I’m sorry to hear your hairdressers are still closed. Here they opened up 6 weeks ago, and we don’t have more corona cases.. the numbers are still going down.
