So it has been almost a year since my last Sunday Post. For weeks now I’ve felt like it was a good time to join the Sunday Post again, but life and two kiddo’s just stood in the way. But I’m finally here, and I’m so excited.
I can’t wait to read what you guys have been up to these last few months!? It’s been a crazy time for me for sure. I’ve been struggling with a burn out for a few months, and have only recently started getting back to work and feeling like me again. (If you want to read more about my journey you can read it here on my Instagram post.) I’ve been trying to add more ‘me-time’ into my routine and slowly I’m getting there.
I joined a book club, which is really fun. Especially since it forces me to read outside my comfort zone. And I’ve been trying to go to more book events. In April I will go to RARE Paris with my mom, and I’m so excited.
My kids have been growing like crazy. I can’t get over how big they are! Our little girl started the second grade of primary school and she has been practicing her reading a lot. It looks like my reading to them from the moment I got pregnant, is rubbing off on her, because she is really excited about reading. 😀 Hopefully my son will start loving it as well when he gets older.
This week our little girl had a week off from school, and although I had to work Tuesday till Thursday, I tried to add some fun stuff on the days I was home. We went to the beach on Monday with my grandmother, and on Friday my mom and I took the kids on a trip by train to the Railway Museum. It was a lot of fun. Next week it’s back to school, and ‘normal’ life.
I hope you all are doing well despite the crazy world out there!

Thanks Kimberly.
Great to see you again! I can’t believe it’s been a year. I go out of my comfort zone with COYER book club choices sometimes too which is interesting.

Thanks.
It’s lovely catching up with you and your doings after such a long time – especially as I was away for quite a while while struggling with Long Covid… How lovely that your little girl is enjoying reading so much! Have a great week, Maureen:).
I’m so sorry to read about your struggles with Long Covid. I hope you’re doing better!
Oh, the little kid age. I miss that sometimes. My daughter is a sophomore now and time really flies. Enjoy it! Happy Halloween!
Time definitely does fly. We are seeing some attitude at the moment.. Where does that come from? LOL!!
