This week we got back to work again. And it already feels like our vacation was long ago. As nurses, our days are unfortunately filled again with Covid-19. And as a pregnant nurse, it has been challenging. I’ve been worrying a lot more this week.
This week our new couch finally arrived after a long wait of 14 weeks. And it’s looking amazing. I can’t believe how much sitting space we now finally have.
Next to work, my days have been filled with taking care of our little girl and doing some blogging. Unfortunately my back and pelvic pain is still constantly present. And it’s getting worse how further along my pregnancy I get. So I’m taking things slow, and I’m trying to take plenty of rest.
This weekend I’m working again, so I’ll probably won’t be Sunday Posting until at least Monday.
I hope you guys are doing well.

This week Maureen’s Books Book Club picked the October read. It’s not to late to join our fun if you’d like!

Maureen, your new couch looks great! I am sorry to hear you are still experience back and pelvic pain with your pregnancy – I pray it will ease for you, that you will be able to take it easy and that you will be safe at work. 🙏 Take care and happy reading! 🙂
Thanks Jessica.
I saw you are doing The Gypsy King for your book club this month. I am going to keep my eye out for the reviews and will try to join you from about December. Not that long to go… Unbelievable!
Take care of yourself and have lots of rest!
Here’s my latest update: The Sunday Post #13
I know right.. It’s crazy that it’s already October.

LOL!! I love Christmas reads.. esspecially now it’s getting colder outside. 😀
Happy reading.
I am glad you are taking rests in between, as needed. I am reallly over the COVID situation and I hope it calms down at least by the early 2021.
I think everyone is over Covid. Unfortunately Covid is not over us yet.
Happy reading.
YAY on the new couch! Hope you have a great week!
Thank you
Sorry that work has been stressful. I would not want to work in healthcare right now. Enjoy your new couch. Have a good week!
It’s definitely challenging working in healthcare at the moment.
Happy reading.
The couch looks awesome and comfy! Lol. A couch has to be the perfect comfort to allow for all day read-a-thons, should those be possible! Lol.
Yay for no new reads! It’s always kind of nice to give the TBR pile a break from toppling over. I unfortunately had to make room to add 3 more…and then I made my next read a review book so I didn’t really take any away from it! Lol.
Happy Reading this week!
Here’s my StS

I love the couch! What a nice room. Take care of yourself and keep getting rest when you can.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Thanks Anne. Happy reading.
The couch looks lovely, Maureen! I admit I’m especially admiring your floors though. I really want to get rid of our carpet, but my husband isn’t as convinced of the necessity yet. Oh well. I’m trying to be patient. LOL
I hope your pregnancy pain subsides some. I think you are right to take it slow and easy, which I know can’t be easy with your young daughter and work.
I am thinking of you and hope you continue to be well. Take care and have a great week!
Thanks Wendy. We love our wooden floors too.
Happy reading.
