This week has been a very busy one and it has definitely flown by. Our little girl had a play date on Monday and Friday. And my husband had his last day on his current job. Now he’ll have a few weeks off before he will start his new job. He had a horrible time these last few months at his job, so we are all so happy and relieved that he is done.
The hairdresser came over to our home on Friday and I had a big hair change. I wanted something new and just decided to go for short this time. I’m loving it!
This week we also had two big kid events. On Friday evening it was ‘ Sint Maarten’, a bit like Halloween. The kids go door to door and they sing a song and get some candy in exchange. It was the first time our little girl was old enough to attend, and she had a wonderful time. I was glad my mom was also with us to help. And on Saturday ‘ Sinterklaas’ arrived in Holland. This is a Dutch children’s event, with the big celebration on December 5th. And then it will almost be Christmas. Ow boy.. You can imagine our kids are a bit overwhelmed at the moment. And don’t even start with us parents! LOL!

Love the haircut. Yes the children get excited this time of year.
Thanks Kimberly.
I love the new look of your blog! It’s very clean, inviting, and pretty! 😀 Congratulations to your husband on his new job. And, your haircut is really cute. I wish hairdressers came to their clients’ homes in the US! That would be amazing. I hope you have a great week!

Thanks Jenni. I found this hairdresser a few months back and it’s so nice to have her come to our home. I hope you find one near you someday soon 😉

Thank you Alicia.
My son is 4 and it is nice to see that he can start joining in things. Some things we will still avoid, but that is becoming less!
I love your haircut. I need to sort mine out soon.
I am very excited about Christmas. I find the build up more exciting than the day itself…
Have a great week ahead!

I totally agree with you. The build-up to Christmas is definitely the fun part. 😉 And I love that your son is the same age as my little girl. It’s an exciting age for sure.
I love your new haircut! Holidays are always more fun with children I think.

Thank you Anne.
Your hair’s super cute! I love it. Very chic and fun.
Here in the U.S., we’re gearing up for Thanksgiving. I love this holiday because it’s all about eating (Yum!) and being grateful for all that we have. I’m not ready for Christmas, although my kids are excited about the upcoming holiday (even though they’re not very little anymore).
