Luckily for me I’ve been feeling much better this last week. Especially lucky since I had to work four days this week, and I didn’t have a lot of free time. I worked Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and since I was still feeling a lot more tired than I usually do I went to bed early this week. On Tuesday me and my little girl visited my mother-in-law and in the evening I went over to a girlfriends place for Sushi since it was her birthday.
Today, Saturday my husband, our little girl and I spend some time in the city. We had lunch in this fascinating place. Fascinating because the walls where filled with moving things like little air balloons, and this sort of church replica. It was pretty fun, and the food was really good. Our little girl wasn’t feeling too well though, so we ended up going home and spending the rest of the day inside.
On Sunday we plan on having a pyjama day at home, just the three of us. I can’t wait.
Reading wise I had a book this week I had to put away after re-reading the same two chapters three times. I just couldn’t get into it. Maybe I’ll try again later, but for now it’s up to the next read.
I’ve been getting way to many fun review requests, and seeing way to many books I need to read. So my reading stack is getting higher and higher.. But I’m loving every minute of it. Hopefully this week I’ll have some more time to do some reading and blogging.

Hey Maureen, just checking in from Kimberly’s Sunday Post. It sounds you had a lovely if busy week and a pyjama day is a great idea. I am doing something very similar after a busy week, too. Have a great coming-week and I hope you enjoy all your new books!
I hope your day was as good as ours. It was a great day for a pajama day here. Windy and lots of rain.

Glad you’re feeling better this week! I totally relate to not being able to get into a book. Best is to move on to a better one or reread a favourite to get the reading mojo back. Hope you have a fun pyjama day!

I know it seems churlish to complain about having too much to read but I’m right there with you at the moment!
A pyjama day sounds fun!
Wishing you a great reading week
LOL!! It’s definitely a ‘book addict’ problem. :D:D
Have a great day and happy reading.
I’m glad you’re better as you needed to be with more work days. Keep going for that work-life balance; PJ day sounds perfect.
I had a book which was not what I expected and I had trouble but I pushed through it in the end. It got better and at least I had the time with our snow day.
Have a wonderful week and enjoy all those reads! I want them all myself.
Anne – Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
Thanks Anne. Good for you that you kept on reading. Maybe I’ll get back to this book someday. But for now I’ll just try something new.
Have a great week and happy reading.
A pyjama day sounds wonderful! Even though I am retired, I still need a day of unwinding…so Sunday is mine. Holed up in my apartment with books, movies, etc.
Enjoy your day…and hopefully you will be able to focus on your books more if you are well rested.
A day to unwind is necessary for everyone I think. Retired or not. 😉
I hope you had a good weekend. Have a great week and happy reading.
I hope you are all feeling well and have a lovely pajama day, Maureen:)
Thanks Laura. I hope you had a great weekend too.
Have a great week and happy reading.
