Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ Itโs a chance to
share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and
things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog
for the week ahead.
And jet again itโs Saturday afternoon while Iโm writing
this. Time goes by so fast itโs hard to keep up at times. But this week was a
good one. I worked Monday till Thursday but I was feeling more like myself and
definitely had some good reading time when I came home from work. I lost a lot
of sleep due to reading (who can blame me??) and working a late and then a day
shift at the hospital.. But life is good at the moment so Iโm not complaining. I
havenโt been able to start in โThe Miracle Morningโ since my other reading was
just so good, but it seems like I feel better since just having that book in my
house. LOL!!
and we had a great time. We went to some bookstores of course, and we walked
around the city to the Rijks Museum. Iโve been there when I was in my early
teens but I couldnโt remember much so I was super excited to see the Night
Watch, or as we Dutch people call it the Nachtwacht. After the museum we walked
and shopped some more. And in the evening we came together with our man and had
a nice dinner. This was definitely a wonderful day.
Monday itโs back to the Nightshift again. Sigh.. I canโt say Iโm looking
forward to them!
because I was too tired or felt to stressed about it. (Definitely a good
thing.) But unfortunately we are having some troubles with our internet
connection this week so I had to put some posts on hold. But since my new motto
is trying not to stress to much I just re-scheduled my posts to next week and
tried not to think about it too much. Iโm getting there! ๐
missing this week?
Happy reading everyone! ๐

Amsterdam sounds great! I'd love to wander that city and find some new bookstores. ๐ And yeah don't stress- blogging is supposed to be fun so whatever comes it's fine. Sorry to hear about the internet trouble- that's always aggravating.
Yay for The Immortals, I'm reading that one now. And your audiobook discussion sounds good. Curious to see what you think of Girl On The Train. I read it last year and I always like seeing what people think of it. Hope your week is awesome!
Amsterdam is amazing. It's such a beautiful city. I can't visit it enough!!
I really can't wait to read Girl on The Train. I've been wanting to read that one forever!
Thanks for stopping by Greg, and happy reading. ๐
oh how cool is that your mom like books too! I like all three books you got! I've read many good reviews about the The Others so I just got the first book. Can't wait for your reviews! hope you time more time to blog next week Happy reading
LOL!! I definitely got my book addiction from my mom. We always go bookshopping together. ๐
Thank you Daniela. Happy reading ๐
How wonderful to be able to visit the Rijks Museum! As an art history major from many moons ago, I am jealous! And good for you not to stress over posting! I went through a phase where I was really stressing out because I had "over obligated" myself and had to step back because I remembered that blogging was suppose to be fun! ๐
Looks like some great books that came in! I am a fan of The Girl on the Train. I really enjoyed that one. AND, I've been debating about which Eloise James book to start with. After seeing the movie, Love Between the Covers, where she was one of the main authors talking about the romance industry and her books, I wanted to read one of her books. She seems like a fun person!
Have a great week ahead! Hopefully you'll have a little more time next week for books and blogging!
The Rijks Museum really was awesome! And the building got a beautiful renovation!
I really do feel a lot better since I had my little blogging break. Now it's just fun again! ๐
You really should read a book by Eloisa James. I read two and I loved them.
Thanks for stopping by Suzanne.
I enjoyed The Girl on the Train…I would LOVE to see Amsterdam some day…I have enjoyed scenes from the city in various movies, but it's not the same, is it?
Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.
Amsterdam in real-life definitely is even better. I really hope you can go there sometime!
I'm so curious about The Girl on the Train. I can't wait to start reading it.
Have a great week. ๐
Haha! I sometimes forget to do that whole "sleeping" thing sometimes too when I have a good book! I hope you enjoy your new reads! I've heard great things about The Girl on the Train and The Immortals looks really good!
Here's my Weekly Recap!
Sleeping is so overrated!! LOL!! I can't wait to start reading my new books and lose some more sleep.
Have a great week. ๐
Sounds like a great time in Amsterdam:) I hate it when the internet goes wiggy. I had that happen for a full day and it drove me crazy. Finally went to bed and it was back to normal the next morning. I can see why you are losing sleep because of reading. So many amazing books!
My Sunday Post – http://fuonlyknew.com/2016/02/21/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-148-and-the-sunday-post/
Internet is unfortunately still having some troubles. But I've been able to be online more than last week so that's a good thing.
Thanks for stopping by! ๐
Oh I love the Others on audio and hope you do to. i could never work nights, although I do keep late hours with reading, but take naps every afternoon..LOL Hope this week is a good one as you adjust.
I just started 'Written in Red' on audio last night. I'm enjoying it so far!
Night Shifts really aren't my ideal working time but since I've been doing them since I was 16 I can handle them pretty good. But getting back in my normal rhythm gets harder every year. :s
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Reading.
It sounds like you had a fun visit to Amsterdam. Good luck with Night shift. That's always seemed so rough. Hopefully you'll still be able to get some reading done! Have a great week!
Thank you Katherine. Have a great week ๐
This is the second time I've seen The Immortals this week! I want to check it out ๐
Here is my Sunday Post

That book definitely seems to be everywhere at the moment. Happy Reading ๐
Ooo. I loved The Girl on the Train!
I can't wait to start reading it! ๐
I am glad you were able to get in quite a bit of reading this past week! I'm hoping my coming week will shape up that way this week, but we'll see. Your visit to Amsterdam sounds like fun. I am glad your mother and you had a good time. I hope your internet problems are sorted out.
You've got some good books there! The Knife of Never Letting Go is one of my favorites–the entire trilogy really. Same with Written in Red. I hope you like Girl on the Train too!
Have a great week! Hopefully the night shift won't be too bad.
Thank you. I can't wait to start reading my new books.
I hope your week will be filled with reading time! Have a great one.;)
I hope you enjoy The Girl on the Train. I wasn't the biggest fan of it but it's okay ๐
I can't wait to read it. I'm hearing so many different things about it. I definitely need to read it for myself. ๐
Happy Reading!
We all lose sleep due to reading, so you're not alone ๐ Sounds like you had a lot of fun in Amsterdam! I'm glad things are going so well for you right now ๐ And that's great that you're not letting the internet/post thing stress you out. They will get posted eventually, so that's what matters. Enjoy your new books! (Especially Written in Red, I want that one!)
Thank you Kristen. Blogging breaks can definitely be good!
I started the Written in Red audiobook yesterday. So far so good.
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
It sounds like you had a great week last week, Maureen! I haven't been to Amsterdam yet, but I hope I'll be able to visit for a couple of days this spring ๐
Have a wonderful week and happy reading.
