Honestly, I feel like I just wrote last weeks Sunday Post. Another week has flown by and there is not a lot to share honestly. Thankfully the kids have finally been all better this week. I had to work Tuesday till Thursday, and I had a meeting for the Christmas celebrations at my daughters school, which I help organize. Our little guy has been having some major tantrums, and is in his NO era.. So things are intense!
I bought a new bicycle today, for work. And I love it. I was able to buy a brand new one with help of a financial program from work. It’s a lovely program honestly. It helps and encourages people to buy a bicycle instead of using their car all the time. In the end it will cost me some money, but a lot of it will be paid by my boss. And my old bike was one I got from my uncle, and he got it from his mom, so it was probably around 25 years old.. so a new one is amazing and it’s working so much better. I’m excited!
This Sunday I’ll be going to my best friends place for dinner and I’m excited. I love my kiddos so much, but sometimes its just nice to be away for a moment. Not to long though, usually I’ll miss them after only minutes!

I love the bike idea. Our area is so spread out it would take forever for my husband to bike to work and so many hills…lol
Riding a bike is pretty normal over here. More people use a bike then a car. But things are pretty close together over here 😀
Congrats on the bike! And I agree- this week flew by! I hope you’re having a great weekend 🙂
Thanks Greg
Oh, wow, that’s cool about the bike! The weeks keep flying by.
They sure do. This week was over before I could think about it.
Congrats on your new bike!! That is a really cool program that your work has!!
Thanks. It’s awesome!
OOh nice! I can honestly say I haven’t ridden a bike since I was in middle school! I had leg surgery when I was 13 and just never got around to riding a bike again. So it will truly test the saying “You never forget how to ride a bike” if I ever decide to give it a go again! Lol. I hope you enjoy your dinner with friends!
Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Ow no.. that’s rough! Riding a bike is probably a bit like walking over here.. Everyone rides a bike I think! 😀 But we are a pretty small country and we don’t have any mountains. So it’s easy to use one.
Enjoy that new bike and the dinner out coming up! Getting too cold to bike or even walk right now in Ohio, US.

Thanks Harvee.
I work for a very large company so I need to look through our list of company benefits and see if they do anything bicycle-related! I mean, they have a program for mom’s who travel and need their breast milk overnighted to them so maybe we do have a bicycle program. LOL
I hope you had a LOVELY dinner tonight at your friend’s house!
Sounds like they definitely should have one 😉
How very enlightened of your boss. The problem here is that the traffic is so insane and our cycle lanes are so badly designed, I wouldn’t have the nerve to ride one. I recall the tantrum stage vividly with my son – they were spectacular, though he’s grown up to be an absolute sweetheart. Have a lovely evening with your friends and a great week, Maureen.
Thanks. I definitely keep reminding myself it’s all just a fase.
That’s awesome about your bike. What is the winter weather like there? Glad to see you enjoyed Iron Flame. I read an interview by the author that the books will be a year apart now. There will also be a tv show!

Thanks. Winter is pretty mellow over here. It freezes, but not too much and we rarely have snow.
Congrats on the bike. What a cool program!
Thank you Barb.
I used to ride my bike all the time, but not in the last year or so. I really need to get back to it. Congratulations on the new and improved ride. Mommy time with friends is important to rejuvenate. I hope you enjoyed yourself. Have a great week, Maureen.
Thanks Carla. I hope your week was great as well.
That’s such a cool program! Love that your work is encouraging people to bike.
Yes, me too. I love it!
Congrats on the bicycle! That’s a great program. I hope you had fun with your bestie. I love catching up with mine and know exactly what you mean.
Thanks Deanna. We had a great time and watched two Harry Potter movies. 😀
Hope you’re enjoying your new bike and have a great weekend!
