Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ Itβs a chance to
share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and
things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog
for the week ahead.
get back on with my reading. Unfortunately things never go the way they are
planned. I had a very strange week. I only had to work Monday evening, and Wednesday
and Thursday during the day, but we received some very disturbing news. So
these work days were really intense and tiring and I didnβt read nearly as much
as I planned to. (Hey whatβs new right? LOL)
to see βPoint Breakβ. Great and gorgeous movie shots, but not a very
interesting story if you ask me. But I did really enjoy it. I mean looking at a
shirtless Luke Bracey and Γdgar Ramirez isnβt a bad way to spend your
afternoon!
really looking forward to this day and I canβt believe how fast the day went
by. We drank coffee, had lunch and of course we visited our favorite bookshops.
I browsed through the Waterstones for a long time. We bought some new books
(see mine below) and I bought my very first POP Harry Potter puppet. (I love
it!! I want them all!!) And of course we talked a lot. In the evening I had a goodbye
dinner from one of my colleagues in Utrecht. So it was a very busy but great
day.
my day cleaning the house (believe me, it was really necessary) and at night,
when they visited, we had cheese fondue. It had been a very long time since we
last had cheese fondue, so it was very nice. So tasty!
brunch. So time has flown by yet again. I did receive some more great looking
new books and I started with my first promotional service this week. Super
exciting. Tonight Iβm going to do nothing more than read and read and read.
LOL!!

Sounds like you had a busy but fun week! Can't go wrong with shirtless guys and book shopping π You also made me really hungry for fondue. I have a fondue pot, but I haven't used it in forever because it's too much work for me, haha. Have fun catching up on your reading!
This was only the second time we used the fondue pot. But we've had it for at least three years. LOL!! But it was very tasty and we definitely need to use it more.
Thank you Kirsten π
I hate when I plan to read or write reviews and then pffft, it doesn't happen. Such a bummer. lol Sounds like you had fun though and that's important. π I hope your plans for tonight come to fruition. *fingers crossed*

Our day in Amsterdam was great. It's our little tradition. We go to Amsterdam a lot and we always spend our day in the many bookshops and having lunch and amazing coffee! It definitely made a great end to my workweek.
You definitely should start The Lunar Chronicles. I've only read the first book yet.. but I'm hooked! π

Sorry to hear about the disturbing news and I hope it has sorted itself out by now. My week last week went nothing like I planned either, I wanted to do loads of blog things and got zero done. But oh well this is a new week! I'm so jealous that you got the illustrated Harry Potter, I really need to splurge on this one too. I keep admiring it in the shop, it's fabulous! Your day in Amsterdam sounded great too, that's my kind of day.
You really need to get the illustrated Harry Potter. It's so gorgeous. I was standing in the Waterstones thinking I probably had to wait with buying it until it became a little less expensive.. But I just couldn't stop myself! π
Good luck this week Trish. I really hope goes better as well.
