Life:
It’s been a while since I last joined the Sunday Post. I
was having some trouble figuring out a good way of combining my work, wedding
planning and blogging life. I think I’ve got it now, although I can’t promise I
will be here every week.. But I’m definitely here today! 😀

This week my boyfriend and I had a week free from work.
We were definitely looking forward to it since we’ve been working all summer,
and my next vacation will probably be in March next year. Sigh.. The weather
this week is absolutely amazing, so we’ve been very lucky. We had a nice week
of relaxing and spending time together.

On Tuesday we went to a shooting ranch. I’d never been
shooting so it was a lot of fun to do.

Wednesday I went out for a High Wine (something like a
High Tea but then with wine :D) with one of my girlfriends. The weather was
great, we had a lovely time catching up and the food and wine were really tasty.

On Friday I went on my very first wedding dress shopping
session and I found my dream dress!! It was amazing.. I never expected to feel the way they say on TV.. but when I tried on my dream dress for the first time I just knew it was THE dress. Sigh.. It’s soooo pretty. I can’t wait to have a fitting session again in a few months.

Books & Blogging:
Blogging wise I had a nice catching up session this week.
I made a view posts and joint some fun features that are coming up in the
upcoming months.

I also joined Jess the Audiobookworm as a tour host. And I’m
excited to start working with her, and listening to more audiobooks.

There has also been some great reading time this week. And I loved
reading for hours and hours. I’m definitely not looking forward to getting out of my
reading and blogging cave yet.. But working life is waiting for me again!

Glad you had a great week- that's always nice. Time off is good for the soul lol. A shooting ranch would be fun. Have a great week and happy reading!
This week was definitely good for the soul!! LOL!!
I especially loved shooting with the bow.. I did my little Robin Hood reenactment! :D:D
I enjoyed Apprentice in Death… so I hope you do as well. It's been my fave of hers for a while.
And no worries about taking a break. Check in whenever you can and you can share wedding plans!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed 'Apprentice in Death'. I can't wait to start reading it. I love those books.
Thanks for stopping by 😉
Work, life and blogging balance is hard enough never mind with a wedding to plan. Looking back, I lost a year of my life to getting married. Hope you find and keep the balance and congratulations on finding the perfect dress.
I'm definitely hoping to keep the balance.. It's hard work on it's own though! Haha 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
The High Wine sounds like fun. I find copying and pasting my Sunday Post into a new draft each week and then updating all week saves loads of time 🙂 Hope this week is a good one!
It really was a lot of fun. Copying and pasting definitely saves a lot of time and I'm just going to let go of the idea that I need to visit everyone on Sunday! Sometimes it sucks being a perfectionist 😀
Sounds like a great week! I enjoy Jayne Ann Krentz, so I want to try her alter Jayne Castle some time soon. Have a great week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
You really should try these books out. They are very fun and different. Have a great week 😉
I want to go to a shooting range!! I've always wanted to! I'm hoping I get to go one day. The High Wine sounds very interesting. Glad you had fun!

It was really fun. I never really thought about going but my boyfriend wanted to and I'm so glad I went with him. Loved it.
Happy Reading 😉
How wonderful that you and you fiance both got a week off to relax and hang out 🙂 And squee! I'm so excited for you that you found your dream dress—and on your first shopping trip no less!
Have a great week 🙂
Yeahhh.. I'm so excited. And it's such a pretty one.. I can't wait for our wedding day so I can show it to everyone.
Happy Reading!
I am glad you and your fiance were able to have a week off from work. It sounds like it was much needed, Maureen. I am glad too you are finding your rhythm with juggling everything. I feel like I'm still trying to find my legs. Who would have thought my daughter starting kindergarten would throw my world so off kilter? Haha. I'll adjust. I always do. 🙂
I bet your dress is beautiful. I am so glad you found it so easily.
I hope you have a wonderful week, Maureen!
Last week was definitely needed. We both work so much that it's not easy to find some alone time and do fun stuff together. This was great.
You'll definitely adjust to Mouse going to kindergarten. Everything just needs a little time 😉
Have a great week!
You have a nice little haul there! It's great to get a break every now and then so I'm glad you and your boyfriend got that time to unwind. Enjoy your week!
Thanks, I really can't wait to start these new books.
The week went so fast.. But it was definitely a very good one 😀
Happy Reading!
