It feels like these last few weeks have just been a bit crazy. Maybe it’s because the days feel shorter, and everything has opened up again here so we can go places. But it’s definitely crazy.
I worked on Monday, and on Tuesday I had to ran some errands with the kids. In the evening my mom and her boyfriend visited, and when they left my best friend came over for dinner. On Wednesday I had a long work day, I picked up the kids from daycare, drove them home, warmed up dinner, got our baby boy in bed and left again to go to a parent-teacher meeting at the daycare. Our kids are doing wonderful and I’m so proud!
On Thursday I had to work again, and afterwards we had a BBQ with our department. It was the first time we were able to do something at work in almost a year and half. It was lots of fun.
On Friday we had our little girls dance class, and in the afternoon we went out for ice cream and grocery shopping. Saturday I bought our little girl a book to continue our family tradition (visit my Instagram for the story), and in the afternoon we visited the zoo.
Today, Sunday, we are staying at home and just relax a bit.

Jingle Bell Hell looks fun 🙂 enjoy
Thank you
Wow that sounds like a good but busy week! Mine was the complete opposite as I did very little but work, go to medical appointments (nothing serious, don’t worry) and sleep! Take care and happy reading in the coming week. 🙂
I’m glad to read it’s nothing serious. Medical appointments are no fun.
I hope this week is better for you! 😉
Happy reading.
I just love Kinderboekenweek. At my school we made a book full of poems and an alderman came to receive the first copy. That was the start of our Kinderboekenweek.
There has also been a book-swap and tomorrow we have a competition in my classroom as for who can read the most beautiful!
Have a nice week 🙂
That sounds like a great start of Kinderboekenweek. Love it!
Enjoy the competition tomorrow. 😉
Happy reading.
Ooh that really does sound like an intensive week! Sometimes when you’re in the middle of it you don’t even realise how busy you are, until you look back and go wow…. I hope this weekend has been a bit more relaxing however and that your week ahead is calmer! ‘A Shadow in the Ember’ looks amazing, Armentrout always has beautiful covers!

Jennifer Armentrout’s books are amazing. The cover are gorgeous and her stories always take me in.
Have a great week and happy reading.
Sounds like a busy week! Glad it was a good kind of busy for the most part.
Nice new reads! I am super excited for Jennifer’s new book…though I’ll admit I still need/want to read The Crown of Gilded Bones first! I’m almost caught up but right now I’m in a reading spree of books for an event next month, so trying to get caught up there first! Lol.
Hope you enjoy all the lovely new reads!
Here’s my StS

You were really busy! Our town was on lockdown so I the only thing I did was go grocery shopping.
Wishing you a great reading week
Yikes.. I’m sorry to hear that. Happy reading.
Sounds like a good – but busy – week. So nice that you were able to have gatherings with your co-workers, your mom and your friend. I miss all that!
Thanks Tanya. It was really fun!
Happy reading.
I’d be exhausted after your week! Then again, I’m permanently exhausted at the moment so it’s not surprising! lol.
I’m glad your kids are doing well in daycare. I hope you enjoy your new books!
LOL!! It’s the time of year to be exhausted I think. I’m definitely feeling it too 😉
