It has been a pretty quiet week over here, so I don’t have a lot to mention.
This week I only had to work two days, but after working the previous weekend, it felt like I worked much more. Covid numbers are going up hard over here, which definitely is noticeable in the hospital. To say the spirit is a bit down in the hospital is putting it mildly. We are just so over Covid, and people acting irresponsible. Sure, we also see people who are vaccinated, but most people are not vaccinated and it’s just challenging to keep our spirits up. As a nurse I’m trying to stay out of the discussions that are going on.. but boy.. It’s getting harder for sure.
In other news, my husband is doing a bit better this week. He hopes to go to work again next week for a few hours. I hope it goes well for him, because not being able to work is definitely not something that is good for him. Sitting still is not in his vocabulary.
I’m excited this week the HoHoHo Readathon is starting again. I’m a host again this year, and it’s just my favorite readathon so I’m really excited. Let the Christmas reading begin!

I hope all goes well for your husband. Grr..the Covid issues make me crazy.
I am excited for the thon as well. Hopefully I kick this illness quickly.
Thanks Kimberly. Yes.. it definitely something that makes me crazy too.
Have a great week and happy reading.
I hear you on Covid… it is so hard to see numbers going up and people still being irresponsible. sigh. Hope your husband is feeling better.
I’m hoping to do hohoHo as well. Have a good week!
True. It’s so frustrating.
I also hope you’ll get to join HoHoHo 😉
Have a great week and happy reading.
I’ve been getting quite worried about the numbers here and I don’t think the new restrictions are going to do much… We’re all grateful for the hard work everyone at the hospitals puts in, though, but I can imagine the breaking point has been reached and passed over! ‘All of Us Villains’ is going to be my read for next week, can’t wait to get into it! I hope you have a great week ahead 🙂

I’m curious what you’ll think of All of Us Villians. It’s definitely a fun read.
And yes.. it’s definitely challenging at the moment.
Have a great week and happy reading.
My town was hit hard by COVID but we are all dong good. Thanks for all you do for others. Look like you have a great selection of books to read.
I’m so sorry to read COVID hit your town so hard, but I’m glad to hear you guys are doing well now.
Have a great week and happy reading.
I hope your husband is feeling better soon. We are still very careful even though we are vaccinated. We limit going out and wear masks when we much go out. I’m afraid it is yet to get worse before things get better.
I’m a fan of the Tawna Fenske books; they are hilarious.

Thanks Anne. I’m happy to read you guys are still being so careful. I wish more people would act like that.
COVID is just taking so much out of people. I just wish that people would just be more responsible instead of deciding not to take the vaccine. It’s so frustrating. Anyway, I hope your week gets better soon.
I totally agree. I keep hoping things will get better.
I’m sorry you are bearing the brunt of covidiots. Thank you for continuing to do your best regardless. I hope you find great books to relax into
Wishing you a great reading week
Thank you Shelleyrae. Happy reading.
