This week I finally caught up with my reading. I worked Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. And in the evenings I managed to read a lot. It definitely felt great. Now this upcoming week I hope to finally get caught up with all my blogging too. I have two days when the kids aren’t at home, and I have the day for myself, and I really hope to get some blogging time in.
It’s the first time in months I’m having two days for myself this week. And I’m both excited, and a little anxious about it. I always feel so bad when I have the day off and the kids are still at daycare. But it rarely happens, and I still have to pay for it even if I kept them with me for the day. According to my husband I should take a ‘me’ day. Especially since the kids both really enjoy going to daycare. So I’m going to do it and I’m going to enjoy it. I hope..
I’ve been looking for some help with my blog. The guy that helped me with my blog hasn’t been responding to my emails for weeks now, and I definitely need some assistance with some WordPress stuff I’m just not good in myself. Do any of you guys know someone? Obviously I’m willing to pay something for the help?!
This weekend my grandma is staying with us. Our little girl is over the moon and I’m also really excited to have her here. She is almost 81 but still very active, and I’m very close with her. So it’s nice to have her around for a few days. We are going to do some fun stuff.
Another exciting thing this week.. I signed up for TBTBSanta and I’m so excited! I can’t wait to learn who I’m going to get.

It’s always nice to have a few hours to yourself. You shouldn’t feel bad, especially since the kids like their daycare too. It’s good for them to socialize. My little nephew has pretty much been home-bound his entire two years because of Covid and all and hasn’t had much interaction with kids his own age. My sister is trying to find a daycare for him but it’s really hard to get in somewhere these days.

Thanks Jessica. Daycare is definitely a challenge. I’m looking for a new daycare as well, since our current one is at the hospital I’m working at now. Since I’m starting my new job in January, I can’t keep them there. Sigh..

I’m so glad you will have those days off to yourself. Everyone needs time. Children need routine so they won’t mind. I am hosted by NoseGraze so she handles all my weird stuff. lol I am not really knowledgeable about WordPress but I should probably read a book about it one day soon.

Don’t feel bad about taking a day to yourself. We all need that from time to time! I was due to have one last week as I finished work a day before my husband and daughter finished school for the holidays. But unfortunately, my daughter caught covid so she ended up being at home anyway. I love having her around, but I was secretly looking forward to that one day all to myself!

I can’t wait to post another review on my blog. I have been reading a lot, but it sure doesn’t look like it on my blog. I’m reading such BIG BOOKS and they take time… So yeah I always feel a bit bad about not posting reviews for a long time. But hopefully November will be better.
