Another week has flown by. And this week has just been a bit blegh for me. Not for any particular reason other than I just didn’t feel like doing much else than spend time with my kids and read. Which was really good for my reading. I managed to achieve my Goodreads challenge of reading 100 books, which was exciting. And the HoHoHo Readathon has started. I’m one of the elves hosting a challenge.. super fun!
But I’ve also been feeling a bit down blogging wise. Maybe it’s because things aren’t working as well, and I still haven’t found someone who can help me out with this WordPress stuff. Every time I feel like I’ve caught up on everything, I feel like my visitors and people who actual comment are getting less and less. And I also don’t always find the time to comment myself. Frustrating really! I’ll probably feel better about it again soon. I have this feeling every year since starting Maureen’s Books. It will fly over. LOL!!
Today, Saturday, I was finally able to get my little boys initials added to my infinity tattoo. Now both my kids initials are on my arm and I’m just over the moon about it.
This weekend we are just taking things slow, I’m trying to read for the HoHoHo Readathon, and I’m packing everything up for my TBTBSanta gift.
I hope everything is going well on your end. Happy reading!

Good luck with the Hohoho readathon! That’s always fun. 🙂 And I hear you on blogging. It can be tough sometimes. I hope you find someone to help you with the WordPress issues…
Thanks Greg!
Enjoy your recent additions and hope the blogging goes alright soon.
Thank you
I’ve found I try not to look too much at my blogger stats as well. I know comments are usually few and between. Despite that, I find I still enjoy writing my reviews and posts. Things don’t seem to take as long as they used to when blogging was more popular, but it’s still something I don’t want to give up after all this time. I actually just mailed my TBTBSanta gift out yesterday! I was finally happy with everything I acquired, waited until Friday night to wrap it all as things were a bit hectic this week as I tried to catch up on sleep, learn my new job, and try to read a chapter or two in the evenings!
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I’m glad you’re still enjoying blogging. I sure am too 😀
Happy reading!
Blogging slumps are pretty common, especially given..well everything 🙂 Have you considered Nosegraze’s Ultimate Book Blogger Plugin? It’s very popular and is said to make blogging much easier.
Wishing you a great reading week
I just got it.. and it’s amazing!! Thanks for the tip.
I use the Ultimate Book Blogger by Nosegraze also so I have support when I can’t figure things out. I knew I wasn’t interested in learning all about WordPress initially.
I’m also enjoying the HoHoHoRAT and am also one of the elves. I’m enjoying it this year. Enjoy some great holiday reads!
