This week has been a good one. Last weekend we got very cold weather here in the Netherlands, with a lot of snow. So we’ve been outside everyday and enjoying the snow and ice. Since our country has been in lockdown since half December, it has been so nice to be able to ‘do’ something. And our little girl loves it. Obviously, I can’t do a lot but even walking for a little while in the cold has done wonders for our spirits.

On Tuesday two of my colleagues visited with their two little kids. It was fun to catch up, and our kids enjoyed playing together. On Wednesday our little girl was finally able to go to daycare. Schools and daycare centers have been closed ever since December as well, and this week the schools and daycare centers reopened. So I brought our girl there so I could have a ‘relaxing’ day, and our girl loved playing with her friends again. She was exhausted at night. LOL!

On Friday I spend the morning at my mom’s place so I could relax and my mom could play with our little girl. It has been nice and very necessary to be able to relax a little more this week. I’m officially now longer pregnant with our baby boy than that I was with our girl. I’m almost at 37 weeks, which is a relieve.. but my body is definitely getting ready to give birth. Everything I do is exhausting, and I’ve been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions.

Reading wise I’m still on a role. But sitting behind my laptop, hasn’t been the easiest. So slowly on I’m getting ready for my little blogging break for when baby  boy comes.

I hope you guys are doing well. What have you been up too?
