This week has been busy with work. Busy but pretty good. I had a view work trainings, a view normal work days and we had our ‘first-Friday-of-the-month’ drink at a bar close to where I work. So yes, busy but fun.
Next to work I spend as much time with my little girl as I possible could. I’m still struggling a little bit with this whole work/mom thing. But I guess that’s normal. I love my job and I’m kind of a workaholic type and volunteer for a lot of stuff. But I also feel guilty when I come home late because I spend it at work. Can any of the moms relate? My mom tells me it’s normal to feel like this, and I am allowed to work and fun too. And I know she is right, since I do spend a lot of time at home with our girl too.. but still.. Life can be complicated.
This weekend I have to work, so busy again. But next week will be better. And I hope to be able to catch up on my reading and blogging then.

Life is complicated, indeed. Don’t feel guilty about working. You spend a lot of time with your baby girl.
Happy readings! 😉
True! It seems to keep getting more and more complicated! LOL!
Thanks.
Happy reading!
It’s a balance. I felt guilty about working but I realized my baby girl needed others in her life besides me. I can’t teach her everything or be everything I hope you have a lovely week and enjoy your new reads!

Yes, that’s so true! But I wish it didn’t feel guilty so much.. Every time I leave her at daycare or family she starts waving goodbye even before I’m ready to go. She doesn’t seem to find it that hard for me to leave. LOL!!
Have a great week and happy reading!
I struggled with that as well for awhile with my daughter, who is now 13. I struggle with it still, with my 6 year old. I feel like I am missing everything; or that I could be more involved; but really – she needs that interaction with other people. It really is a balance that I believe we all struggle with; but you’re doing great! 🙂

Ah thanks! That’s so kind! Mom life can definitely be hard at times right?! I don’t think I fully appreciated my mom as much as when I became a mom myself.
Have a great week and happy reading!
I think work and home balance is definitely complicated and can be a struggle. Why is life never easy, right? Becoming parents is definitely an adjustment. 🙂
Hope you have a great week!
That’s definitely a good question Greg! Being a mom is both the most rewording and incredible thing that ever happened to me.. but also the most confusing! LOL!
Happy reading!
I have two coworkers that recently had babies. They are both struggling with this same thing <3 The phrase that one of them keeps saying to keep herself on track is, "Happy momma, happy baby." <3 Sending you lots of love!!
LOL!! That’s a phrase that definitely applies to me!
I hope you had a great week! Happy reading!
You’ll be able to find the right balance soon. I mean, I grew up with a working mom because my parents divorced early on. My mom always had time for me though. Occasionally she might have to stay late or went out with her friend after work, but it wasn’t all the time. In time, I’m sure you’ll find your right balance.
Nice new reads! New to me ones but I hope you will enjoy them all!
Ow I know.. My mom was a single mom too.. but still! I want my baby girl to have a better life than me! LOL!
I hope you had a great week! Happy reading!
I think it’s normal to struggle with the life/work/mum thing. I still do and my son is almost 9. Don’t feel guilty.
Thanks! I guess it’s just part of being a mom right?!
Happy reading!
