This week has flown by. I only had to work two days this week, which was very nice. We celebrated Kings Day on Wednesday. This is a national holiday over here in the Netherlands. (You can see a reel about our day on my Instagram page.) It was such a fun day with our kids. And the weather was lovely. I got some fun children’s books for a bargain, which obviously made my day.

On Thursday I found 8 secondhand books in the Night Huntress series by Jeanine Frost for an amazing price. I’m still a bit in shock I got it for that price to be honest. LOL! I haven’t read any books by Jeanine Frost before, but I’ve been wanting to start this series for a while. And the books are in pristine condition, and have never been even opened to the looks of it. Lucky me!

This weekend we visited my mom and my bonus dad. And we will mostly be getting everything in our home ready for Monday. On Monday morning, 07.30 a.m., builders will start working on our new home addition. They are going to build a whole new room on our roof. It’s exciting obviously, because we will get a beautiful new master bedroom, and we will have a spare room for office space and a bed for visitors. But boy am I anxious too. The idea of all the mess for the upcoming 3-4 weeks, and all those strange people walking through my home. Don’t even get me started about how on earth baby boy will sleep during the day! LOL!! My introvert brain is all over the place to be honest! I’m going to try and share the build on my Instagram if you’re interested.
