I never heard about the author Eva Simmons before I saw the sign up for ‘Heart Break Her’. But when I read the book description I knew this was a book I wanted to read. So when I was send the ARC I was so excited and started to read as soon as I could.

In ‘Heart Break Her’ we meet Cassie and Sebastian. Sebastian is the lead singer of a very popular rock band. He has seen and done it all. But one night he sees this enchanting girl sitting at one of his concerts. And when they accidentally meet after the show, there is an instant connection between the two of them. But how can there be a future between a rockstar who has been with a lot of woman, done a lot of drugs and most of all has no real freedom, and a woman who just graduated college, has a bright future ahead of her and isn’t known to ‘let go’ and do what she wants? Both know they should stay away from each other. But somehow this doesn’t seem an option.

From the moment I started reading Heart Break Her I was completely hooked. Honestly, I devoured these pages and couldn’t find myself to stop reading until I read every single page. The storyline wasn’t like any other book I read before, and these two characters where just amazing. Eva Simmons definitely made me feel like I knew this characters personally, and I was rooting for them from the start.

The chemistry between Sebastian and Cassie was amazing. It was flying of the pages, and although I couldn’t imagine how these two characters would be able to end up together I kept hoping they did. There connection was just so intense and I loved getting to know them. And the whole rock band bit was pretty amazing as well.

Next to this being an amazing read, I am really curious about the other band mates and I can’t wait to read their stories as well. This book definitely made me want to read more books by this author. And have you seen that cover? Wow! Love it!
