After reading the first book in the Adair family series I knew this was a series I wanted to read every single book from. I mean wow.. what a great start to a new series!

So when I received the ARC of ‘There With You’, book two in the series, I couldn’t wait to start reading and I dived in as soon as possible.

In ‘There With You’ we read the story of Regan and Thane. Regan has come to Scotland to make things right with her sister. A lot has happened these last two years and it’s time to be brave and make things better. After catching up with her sister, Regan realizes she really wants to stay in a Scotland to be with her sister. So it’s time to get a job. Luckily her sisters fiancé’s brother lives next door and is looking for a nanny.

Thane is in desperate need of a nanny for his two kids. After being a widow for a few years and trying to do it himself, he needs help. When Thane meets Regan he first things she is way too young and untrustworthy to be a nanny. But he decides to give it a try. And soon he realizes there is so much more to Regan then meets the eye.

From the moment I started reading ‘There With You’ I didn’t want to stop. I was just hooked from the very first page. Regan’s character is definitely different, and I really wanted to know more about her. She seems a bit shallow and selfish at first, but we get to see the real Regan soon enough and I must say I loved her. I loved how she tried to make up for her mistakes, and how she wasn’t afraid of change. An admirable trait in my book.

Thane character was one I loved right from the start. He is widowed, and taking care of his two kids himself. And I loved him as a dad. He definitely was swoon worthy, and I couldn’t read enough about him. I loved the fact we get to read this book from both his and Regan’s point of view. I simple loved being in Thane’s head a bit.

The chemistry between Regan and Thane was amazing right from the start. And I just completely swooned over them. Regan is a lot younger though, and Thane is sure she is way too young for him. It was really fun to read how he tried to tell himself to stay away from her. And really.. who cares about the age difference? I loved those two and was really rooting for them from the start. Luckily we get to read a lot of sweet and thrilling moments between them.

I loved how this story was a bit different than usual. A widow with two kids, it made for an interesting story. But this read wasn’t only romantic.. it also kept me sitting on the edge of my seat with suspense. Amazing!!

Since the first book was about the oldest Adair brother, and Regan’s older sister, we get to read a bit about those characters in this book as well. I loved that! And we also read about the other Adair siblings, which really made me want to read their story too. You can easily still read this book as a standalone, but I love the fact I know the first story too.

This book was definitely another great book in the series and another 5 star read for sure. I so need to get my hands on paperbacks of this series. I can’t wait to read more books about the Adair family.
