check. But helping Connor rebuild his life only reinforces how much she longs
to be a part of it. One explosive encounter, and she’ll discover that getting
what you always wanted can feel better than you ever dreamed…
My Review:
fast as I could. I love stories about cowboys and country life. And since I
read this book would also be a romance novel. It just sounded like the perfect
read for me.
friend Liss Foster. Connor has had some really crappy years. Three years ago
his wife died and now the only thing he knows how to do is drink, work on his
ranch and being an ash to people. Liss has been Connor’s best friend for
eighteen years. In the last three years Liss has been Connor’s rock. She brings
him groceries and stays with him when he is having a bad hangover.
time for him to give something back to his friend, and he offers Liss to stay
at his place for a while. Soon this arrangement changes anything.
loved it. Although Connor seems to be an ash most of the time, he really is not
a bad guy at all. He is just hurt and doesn’t know how to go on anymore. The
friendship between Connor and Liss is from the beginning very enjoyable. It’s
really funny but there’s also a lot of love, hurt and raw feelings.
on the Garrett Range. And I just loved this scenery. I could easily see myself
in my cowboy hat walking on that range.
filled with friendship, hurt and above all hope. It teaches us to always keep
hope… Even if life seems to be all wrong and not worth living.. the most
important thing to do is keep hope. This book was really an emotional
rollercoaster. It’s a sad story but most of all really beautiful.
definitely my kind of book. It’s romantic, funny, there are cowboys and horses
and ranch life. Do I need to say more?? LOL.
My Rating:
Other Books in the Series:
About the Author:
Oregon with her three children and her husband, whose chiseled jaw and
arresting features continue to make her swoon. She feels the epic trek she
takes several times a day from her office to her coffee maker is a true example
of her pioneer spirit.
book. Since then it’s been a whirlwind of sexy alpha males and happily ever
afters, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Maisey divides her writing time
between dark, passionate category romances
set just about everywhere on earth and light sexy contemporary romances
set practically in her back yard. She believes that she clearly has the best
job in the world.

I adore cowboys and this sounds wonderful. I have only tried a novella but this author but loved it
This truly is a great cowboy story. But it's also much more. It was my first book by Maisey Yates, but I definitely want to read more from her now.
